    Stayed once before and rom was ok, but this time it was really below my lowest expectations. Terrible dirty bathroom with rust stains on the sink and tub. Concrete floors are also not very convenient, as well as central AC that you can't control. Overall, very ghetto rooms, although very pretty lobby and good location. But will not compromise like this again.

    When you walk up to the Aqua you kind of wonder what you got into. Not what the hotels look like in California! Don't judge this hotel by its street cover! The staff was great. We got in at 8am from a cruise and they stashed our luggage because our rooms weren't ready yet but then they had at least 1 of our 3 rooms ready by 1pm. All three rooms were very clean and the location was spectacular! Walking distance to everything--beach, food and shopping. If I had to make 1 complaint, it would be the hot tub echos to the lower rooms, but other than that-fantastic stay! If you have an adventure spirit, rent a scooter (our kids LOVED them) or beach cruiser bikes--my husband and I rode for 8 hours around South Beach. We will again cruise out of Miama and we will most definatley stay at the Aqua!
