    The Carneige Hotel in Johnson City, TN offers luxury such as wooden sleigh beds, large tile and granite bathrooms and classic turn of the century lobby all for no more than you would pay for an average room at any chain hotel!

    Having stayed in a variety of hotels that allow pets, the Carnegie Hotel & Spa was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only drawback we found during our stay was the difficulty of finding decent coffee nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Carnegie Hotel & Spa Johnson City is 15 miles from the Tri-Cities Regional Airport. The property provides the ambiance of the early 1900s. The hotel is decorated with the stately furnishings, dating back to the turn of the century. The hotel is adjacent to the East Tennessee State University and Bristol Motor Speedway. A full-service facility, the Carnegie is also home to the Austin Springs Spa and Salon, Eastern Tennessee's premier day spa.

The elegantly-appointed guest rooms feature a full range of amenities and plenty of room. The décor and furnishings are distinctly turn-of-the-century. But, the oversized bathrooms are definitely modern, with a separate bath and shower, and a double granite sink.
