    My husband and I recently stayed at the Red Lion in Idaho Falls. We got a King Supreme Suite for an unbelievable price. Driving up to the hotel I was blown away by the beautiful scenery of the trees chaning color along the canal falls. The man at the front desk was very kind and told me he had given me the best view in the building. We were on the 6th floor with our balcony looking right out at the falls. The room was excellent and the view was amazing. We walked practically next door to a wonderful brew pub for supper and had a fabulous meal. The next morning we walked along the trail and across the bridge to the other side and ate at an amazing bread store. The stay was wonderful. I will definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone heading to or through Idaho Falls. The only cons I found were that they could really stand to upgrade the TVs. Ours was an old maybe 15" Panasonic. Also the exercise room left a lot to be desired along the lines of equipment. Had it been a little warmer I would have chosen to run outside along the trail which is what I am sure they assume most die-hards will do.
