Hôtel de La Poste

The Hotel de la Poste is set in a grand 19th century building with a garden, on the site of a 16th century post house. On the edge of Beaune's historic walled district, it is less than 500 meters from the main shopping area and the Hospices de Beaune. Air conditioned rooms are decorated in traditional style, with pastel shades and floral fabrics, and furnished with antique-style polished wood furniture. All have minibars, safes and satellite television.

The hotel's restaurant offers regional dishes including boeuf bourguignon and escargots de Bourgogne in surroundings themed around the "années folles" of the 1930s. Guests can enjoy wine tastings in the extensive wine cellar, or might prefer a relaxed drink in the piano bar and a game of billiards. A parking garage and 24-hour front desk are also provided for the convenience of guests. Dijon-Bourgogne Airport is 50 kilometers away, and activities in the area include horse riding and golf. The Hotel de la Poste have standard rooms with double beds overlooking the old city and deluxe rooms with double bed or twin beds, bigger than the standard rooms overlooking the garden or overlooking the old city. All rooms are different.

In all rooms guests will find soundproof windows, bath/shower (some standard rooms only have shower), private toilets, hair-dryer, direct-dial telephone, television, mini-bar, safe and air conditioning.
