    We just got engaged this past weekend and we stayed at The Dupont. Overall room was very clean and neat. No safe to store the ring in though...lol! Ok, all joking aside...we had a little trouble with the heating and cooling at the hotel (I'm sure this had something to do with it being 28degrees Fri and then reaching 70degrees on Sat). Brian, the manager at The Dupont comp'd us an awesome breakfast for the HVAC problems...thanks Brian!!! Great food places to check out: Kramerbooks-bookstore in front & fantastic eatery in back. Also, check out Larry's Incredible Cupcakes and Ice Cream!!! THE BEST CUPCAKES EVER!!!

Location. The Dupont Hotel overlooks Dupont Circle, considered one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. The Dupont Circle Metro Station and Embassy Row are one block from the hotel.

Hotel Features. The lobby features marble floors, a gas fireplace, red-velvet furnishings and fresh orchid arrangements. A restaurant and lounge provide service during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. The hotel's business center houses three computer stations and three printers. Fax and photocopy services are available for a fee at the front desk. A total of 8,000 square feet of function space accommodates events. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. A 24-hour fitness room is equipped with cardiovascular machines.

Guestrooms. This eight-story hotel offers 314 modern, residentially designed guest rooms. Rooms contain coffeemakers and mini fridges. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations or showers only. In-room safes are complimentary. Rooms feature complimentary wireless Internet access.

The Dupont Hotel charges the following fees and deposits at either check-in or check-out.
