For the money, this hotel is quite nice. I'm used to staying in 4-5 star hotels and was a bit nervous when my wife and I ventured onto hotels.com for this one, but took a chance and we loved it. We upgraded for $20 extra to a fantastic suite. While our views were okay, the hotel room was very nice. The restaurant was a bit slow, but Sedona is a place to relax so we just took it in stride...

We stayed at this hotel several years ago and found it to be enjoyable so we thought a return visit would be good. I recall during the previous stay that there wer more kitchen facitilies at the property but there is just a microwave and coffeemaker. This hotel has been recently remodeled but it is not the same as our previous stay. At this time it seems a bit pricey for what you get. The Hilton website states there are robes, there were none. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were several occasions when we visited 1 of the 2 hot tubs, it was not hot and on one particular occassion it was dirty. We notified the front desk, but it was not taken care of during our 5 day stay. The adjoining spa was nice a great for a relaxing day. On one occassion the fire alarm was set off by someone smoking in their room. The obnoxious smoke odor filled the hallways on our floor as well. I notified the front desk and they did correct the problem, but the rude and obnoxious person creating it just went about the evening smoking. Thankfully, it did not penetrate our room. As far as the location, this hotel is located in the more "residential" area of Sedona. If you plan to golf frequently or just use the facilities at the hotel it would be fine, but if you plan to spend a lot of time in the West Sedona or Uptown arts/shopping districts I would fine something closer to those areas.
