    Location very convenient. It was close to the Cable Car Powell Street turnaround, the Powell BART station and easy to catch any of the MUNI system. You could walk to the Westfield Shopping Complex, Metreon, the Moscone Center, the Jewish Museum and SFMOMA. With a little energy, even the Ferry Building was in walking distance.

    I wanted a romantic weekend with my fiance and forget about responsibility for two days. Instead I spent the whole time driving, and trying to park. Parking is horrrendous and the hotel is short staffed so dont expect to be assisted in anyway. Once we found a spot for an extra $40 a night, there wasn't luggage rack available. The lobby is like an airport terminal. The room was comfy and the bed was amazing. Overall Ok but that weekend was entirely too expensive and more of a hassle than anything. Save your money on the hotel and if you can have all of your travel arangements planned out because you will waste an entire weekend trying to find a decent parking spot.

The property sits three blocks from Hallidie Plaza and four blocks from the Masonic Center, Nob Hill and Huntington Park. Cable cars on Powell Street are immediately accessible behind the hotel.

Hotel Features. Located off the lobby, San Francisco Marriott Union Square's Girasole showcases Mediterranean-style cuisine for breakfasts and dinners. The fitness center features cardiovascular equipment fitted with individual high-definition televisions.
