    The property is lushly landscaped and customer service was excellent. Coming to Plantation Golf Resort & Spa anytime other than Memorial day weekend would have made this place ideal. The pool and hot tub area was way to crowded. All of the other common areas were open and not too crowded. The marina and staff were excellent as well. The restaurant was amazing: service, food and presentation. The room was nicely decorated, updated and beds comfortable. The minor negatives: mildew stains in the shower grout, toilet too close to the wall for comfort and comforters stained on the inside. We would definitely come here again. Bad news from overhearing employees that they were filing for bankruptcy (reorganize) and letting all upper management staff go.

The Plantation Inn and Golf Resort is a wonderful hotel that epitomizes the gracious southern hospitality and quiet charm synonymous with the Florida of yesteryear. The Plantation Inn and Golf Resort is a beautifully restored destination the heart of Florida's Nature Coast. This resort, built in 1962 along the banks of the pristine Crystal River is a two-story sprawling manor house with one hundred and twenty six guest rooms including twelve golf villas and five condos.
