Location. Governor Hotel is three blocks from the State Capitol Campus. St. Martin's University and the Evergreen State College are within two miles.

Hotel Features. Governor Hotel features panoramic views of Sylverster Park and Capitol Lake. The hotel's restaurant is Southern Kitchen. The restaurant serves complimentary breakfast buffets. An outdoor pool and eight-person hot tub are on location. The hotel includes a dry sauna and a fitness center.

Guestrooms. Governor Hotel's guestrooms feature refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is provided. Select rooms include desks and minibars.

Expert Tip. Capitol Lake was formed by a dam where the freshwater of Deschutes River empties into the saltwater of Budd Inlet. Starting in August, thousands of salmon swim upstream. The lake area offers boating, bicycling, running trails, playgrounds and picnic table year round.
