    Getting to the Carlton was a minor challenge, but once there, we found it a great location where so many things were near by. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. We even asked for a recommendation for a good, inexpensive Hungarian restaurant in the neighborhood, and the man at check-in provided us with a restaurant with all the things we wanted. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and varied. It was really a very good experience, and we'd definitely stay there again if we were to return to Budapest.

    Since I read other reviews saying the hotel was hard to find, I booked a car service from the airpot and got here with no problem--with a Googlemap seach it is also easy to find this place. The breakfast was OK; I stayed here 8 days and started to get tired of the selection by the end. They do not allow you to iron in your room, which was somewhat of a bother. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this hotel.
