    The hotel charges you an additional $25 service fee. They don't tell you about it at your check in time. I was told that it was to cover parking and the wireless internet. Parking was a joke. There are not enough spaces and it is far from the room entrance. Their accounting department was very confrontational and were not willing to assist. I was given a receipt and the $25 fee was not added to my credit card until 4 days after i left.

    We have stayed in many resorts in the greater Palm Springs area, but the Westin offered great value and style for the price. We were seeking upscale, quiet and relaxation, and were not disappointed in the least. Our second floor room was large and elegantly appointed, with sleek modern furnishings, flat screen TV, spacious bathroom, quality amenities, cathedral ceilings and a lovely balcony with privacy overlooking a quiet adults-only pool. A bigger and more boisterous pool is available for families and those seeking more social interaction. Even when we arrived mid-day, we never had a problem finding space at the pool. We didn't make use of the golf, spa or on-site restaurants this trip, but appreciate that they are available. Very convenient short drive to The River shopping areas, El Paseo and downtown Palm Springs for off site shopping, dining and entertainment. The concierge we worked with was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area's attractions. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing weekend getaway.
