    To be a 4 Star Hotel - it lacks a lot to be desired. The staff was friendly, but they did not over any services, no room service, no internet availability and no information about the area sites, etc. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning was not good.

Modern and functional in appearance, the six story Hotel Princess is located on the Via Aurelia in Rome's green belt, three kilometres to the west of Vatican city and St Peter's Square. The hotel in Rome offers 260 air- conditioned guestrooms feature simple, neutral décor. Within the Princess Hotel, all rooms have direct dial telephones, televisions, mini-bars and private bathrooms.

Guests can lounge by the outdoor pool, enjoy a drink in the bar and relax with the daily papers or in front of the television in the lobby inside the Princess Hotel. Italian specialties and international dishes are on the menu at lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe deposit box. Tour advice and local information about Rome are available from the concierge and souvenirs are on sale at the gift shop.

The Villa Doria Pamphili park is about four kilometres away and Palatine Hill and the Coliseum are about five kilometres' journey across Rome from the Princess Hotel. The Eternal City's main attractions are within easy reach of the hotel by public transport. Rome Fiumicino airport is 20 kilometres and about a 30 minute journey from the hotel. There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs 9.50 EUR. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the hotel will cost 40-50 EUR. Within the Princess Hotel there are facilities for business guests that include conference rooms and banquet facilities and guests with cars will appreciate free onsite parking.
