    The hotel is old and the room smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty and the air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work. The breakfast buffet was much too small for the amount of guests. There was no coffee or eggs avaliable during the time my family tried to eat breakfast.

The Hawthorn Suites in Atlanta, Ga., is located 24 miles from one of the busiest airports in the world, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This extended-stay, three-story hotel sits on a landscaped 13 acres. The hotel is five miles from Six Flags White Water and 13 miles from downtown Atlanta. While visiting, guests can take advantage of local malls like Cumberland or take in an Atlanta Braves baseball game at Turner Field. Active guests can relax in the outdoor pool, play tennis or basketball on the courts or work up a sweat in the fitness center. A complimentary shuttle whisks guests to locations within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
