Good Enough

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the service was good. The noise was minimal. This was why we picked this hotel. The hotel restaurant was expensive, but so was everything else in the area. The hotel was fine, but I would have probably been more comfortable in a "less posh" area.

Privacy?

Immediately after I checked in a maid entered the room behind me and asked if everything was acceptable. That's a great gesture and all, but I would rather my privacy. The doors are extremely heavy, thus when someone in the hallway lets the door swing shut it gives a loud thud. The walls are pretty thin and I could hear my neighbors' phones ring and talk. Again as I was sitting in my room there was a knock on the door and before I could answer it a woman entered the room to check to see if I used the mini-bar. That's just creepy with that many people entering the room unannounced.
