Not worth the price

My friend and i got very sick after one night of sleeping at this hotel. We should have requested a new air filter in our room, nice pool but dirty, ketchup packets at the bottom! Although very convienent to local casino and nearby shops.

Great Hotel for the $.

The hotel was centrally located in walking distance to several shops, movie theater and resturants. The pool was very clean and well kept. There were lots of chairs available to sit at and many umbrellas to use. All of the staff I encountered save one front desk attendant, were exceptionally friendly and the bellman went out of there way to help me offering to go the parking lot and load my car for me. The also started it for me turning on the air conditioner so it wouldn't be hot when we got in it. They went the extra mile!! I had a great stay there and to top it off the bed was more comfortable than my Temperpedic mattress at home ( I dont know if that's good or bad ;-)

Outstanding Hotel

The Hilton was very nice, great location, clean room, friendly staff (the bar service could use some work) for only a little extra we were placed on the bottom floor with a patio that opened up to the pool. The staff was great y room was not ready, but allowed me to lay by the pool and called me when it was ready, also provided a shuttle that took us a couple blocks down so we could experience the Palm Springs nightlife. I would stay at the Hilton Palm Springs anytime.

nice hotel

The hotel was very clean. The only negatives were that the price was very high and that the room did not have a booklet giving info. as to room service, restaurants, menu of the hotel restaurant, etc. When I called to get info. I was redirected to call both room service and the restaurant. I asked for menus to be brought up to the room and waited 45 minutes- and had to call again. On the positive side, the check in was smooth and staff friendly.

Two negatives but overall mostly a good experience

The pool courtyard in general was beautiful - particularly due to the bougainvillea. Unfortunately, my "poolside view" room, which I reserved online, was blocked not only by the pool bar but also by the roof of an adjoining covered patio. Pretty pricey considering this aspect but the hotel location in itself is a positive. Also, I arrived close to the 3PM check-in time but my room was not ready until 3:30PM.

Very nice for the money

The Hilton Palm Springs resort was very nice. The Fitness Center left some to be desired, but the pool was nice and heated to a comfortable temperature so I could swim on a November morning. Room service was great and affordable, and the room was elegant and comfortable.

Room quality versus rates

I was a little disappointed with the rates, compared to the quality of the room/hotel. However, I do understand it was a holiday weekend, so I'm sure they raised their rates. It just seemed a bit high. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel.

didn't get the floor I booked

I was upset because I was traveling with a pet and I was very clear that I needed the 1st floor. While booking I mentioned it 3 times. Of course, when I got there -- no rooms available. So, I had to get up in the middle of the night several times and go down from the 3rd floor to take my pet outside. Needless to say I was not happy.
