Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 18ok but the breakfast needs extreme improvement
This hotel was fine for money but the breakfast was skimpy compared to other Super 8's. The hours were only 6-9 and the doors were locked after 9am. The coffee makers in the rooms were only one cup makers and no microwaves and you had to walk to the lobby if wanted to use a microwave that you could not pop popcorn in. There were only two cereals to chose from, toast and bagels and everyday the same two brands of muffins. and only 1% milk. There was no waffle maker, no fruit or donuts the same thing for our 5 day stay very disappointing. However the staff was helpful and very friendly and greeted you by name. Our room was clean but also the TV channels were very limited.

The location was good, 10 minutes and you were at the Falls. We got back late and there was no parking spots left and the front desk didn't really have any suggestions on what to do. I ended up having to park next door. The room was o.k, walls REALLY thin- no need for an alarm clock, my neighbors talking woke me up. Breakfast was served between 6a-9a. Missed the continental breakfast. The shower was the worst. 1st I get in- start to wash my face, grab the wash cloth, open it (it was folded above the sink) and there was pubic hair on, gross! Then I am done with the shower, turn the water off and the entire handle on the faucet falls off and crashes to the ground. Luckily i was only there for one night.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 18Dismal entrances, but comfortable room
Our hearts sank when we first entered this hotel from the back parking lot. The entrance hallway reeked of cigarettes, and the carpet was filthy. Consequently, we were delighted when our actual non-smoking room was comfortable and clean. There is a Target very close by for any incidentals you need to buy. Most restaurants are a considerable distance away. The free breakfast is minimal. The free trolley pass is good for a trolley that only comes once an hour. This is not the hotel's fault. However, we would recommend you drive to the falls and pay to park your car instead.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 18Reception people are not polites
When I arrived they look at me like I'm bothering them and they were impolite at all. When I went to asked them where is the dining room they even not look at me but answer before I start to talk. That made me feel like I'm not wanted there. But, when I left they were very very very nice. I will not go there and don't recommend again.

first of all the swimming pool is by the main road. at the main entrance, which is not private. no privacy for anybody. plus the pool water temperature was below 60 degree. when i asked at counter they said this is how it is all the time. you must bring your own laptop computer to use, because they have computer internet but you have to pay $5 cash and $3.50 credit card. which does not work properly. one more thing, i found a live cockroach on my bad.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 18Hotel very humid, bathroom moldy
Hotel room very humid. Air conditioner only went off about every 15-20 minutes, which didn't cool the room down at all. Bathroom walls had mold around shower. Staff stated we could not switch rooms since there were none available.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 18Customer Service Needs Improvement
The hotel was comfortable and clean. It was what you would expect from a room at a Super 8. The worst thing was customer service. The first night we got there my husband noticed something in the AC that looked like mold. I am 7 months pregnant so he asked if someone could look at it. The night manager came in and said it looked like fibers, not mold, and that someone would be there in the morning that could check it. He offered to move us to a different room but we were tired so we decided to wait until morning. No one ever came to look at it during our stay. Also there was a light burned out in one lamp that never got replaced and the other lamp was falling apart.

I chose this hotel because it was well recommended by previous reviewers. But, I was completely disheartened during my stay. Our lamp shade was broken and the coffee maker did not work (although they changed the coffee maker instantly, the lamp shade was not repaired till next evening). The phone did not work from the room. Plus, when we returned in the afternoon, our sheets were not done and the bathroom was dirty. May be once, this was a great hotel, but I was dissatisfied with the stay. The only good point was that the staff were friendly and eager to help.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 18Very unpleasant experience
This hotel has a few good reviews on hotels.com, so we chose to stay here. But the experience was so horrible that I now suspect if these guys are hiring people to write good reviews. Some highlights: - The beds are itchy - maybe they have bugs. We had rented 2 rooms. In the morning we came down for breakfast, and were talking about this. 3 other families heard us and reported the same. - We had booked non-smoking rooms, but everywhere in the corridor and EVEN in the room, one could smell cigarette smoke. After putting on AC for 2-3 hours the smell subsided. - The hotel manager is at best rude and at worst racist. The hotel receptionist is either dumb or lazy. We had 2 rooms, and the hotel parking lot was empty, still she wouldn't give us nearby rooms. - Somewhere on its site, it is written that this hotel is constructed in 2001, but it looked very old. Do not go to this hotel.

If you are a light sleeper or get disturbed easy stay away from this hotel. The noise from other rooms carry so easily. We had someone above us who were constantly stomping around the room and talking loudly. I complained to the front dest at 3:00 am but not much help there. I guess they did not have any concience at all that there are people sleeping downstairs. Other than that the hotel is fine but very poor sound insulation.
