Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 15Needs some upgrades
The rooms are fine, nothing special, but certainly adequate. They are clearly undergoing rennovations and hopefully that will lead to nicer ammenities. The lobby is rather sparse, only certain elevators get you to certain floors, and the guest services left something to be desired.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 15a dump
We had requested a suite and paid more than we usually do to obtain a beautiful hotel room--we recieved a gross room with barely enough room for the icky pull out couch. If you are used to traveling first class this is not the hotel for you.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 15Not so Grand...
I arrived at 3 pm Friday from a redeye flight to check in, and was greeted by a long check-in line, only one person at the small reception desk, and nobody to talk to about the checkin process. No signs, no announcements, no concierge or doorman or lobby area to sit down. Location is fantastic but for this price I would expect much better service and a lobby seating area. Also, when I finally checked in there were no rooms available. Maid service apparently takes all day. One day I was out all day, returned at 5 pm and the maid was just getting to my room. Also my room had no tub, only a shower, which for a female business traveler is really a drag. For this price I expect a tub.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 15For the price, I'm not sure this room was worth it.
Room was very masculine and oriented to business persons, and felt formal, small, and uninviting. Very small room space. Clean new bathroom. They are doing construction downstairs to add a restaurant and open up the lobby. But for now, there's no where to spend time downstairs or to sit, even though the lobby is old and beautifully designed with marble. Best part is its location. For the price, I'm not sure this room was worth it though.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 15Too noisy
Great location but the down side is a lot of street noise and poor air conditioning.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 15We expected more
The hotel was nice, clean and nice rooms but the service could have been better. We asked for a bed with two rooms and got a room with one queen-size bed and the air-condition did not work. The location of the hotel was great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 15Location great - amenities of a three star hotel
I expect a 4 star hotel to have laundry service, a concierge able to book tickets to the theatre, etc, have a minibar in the room, restaurant or lounge. This Hotel needs to upgrade it's services.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 15check policies first
Although a nice hotel, check policies first before checking in - for instance, when i arrived - late morning, my room was ready, but if i wanted to actually get into the room before the 'official' time of 2:00 pm - i had to pay a 35GBP ($80.00) fee. Because it is still under construction, there was no restaurant. I was checked into a room, and then several hours later, the front desk called and said they had to move me as that room was reserved for someone else. Then i had to move AGAIN because the internet service was not working in the second room. For the money -it was a bit too unorganized. There are many places to stay in London and would probably do a little more homework the next time on where to stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 15Decent hotel
The beds were not very comfortable. The lack of restaurant and bar were a negative. When booking this property, they said these would be completed but were not. The service was good, very responsive. A one night stay would be fine, but 4 nights was too much.....defintely a business hotel. Lots of soccer players staying here, and quite noisy...bouncing balls etc.
