Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 303Excellent
We stayed for one night in one of their deluxe rooms. Excellent service at the front desk, even upgraded us without any additional charge. Room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was in superb condition too. I will return on my next visit to Boston. Highly recommended!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 303Great room - not the cheapest but good value
The rooms at the hotel have a wild animal theme with the carpets and bath robes in Zebra stripes or Cheatah pattern. The staff were very friendly and there is complimentary coffee in reception from 6am and a free wine tasting in the evening from 5:30pm. The restaurant was OK - not great and quite expensive but there are a range of local eateries in the shopping mall attached to the hotel including Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza and the obligatory food court! The hotel is situated across the river from Boston and is next to the Science Museum - the metro is a 10 minute walk and then three or four stops into Downtown crossing for access to the centre of Boston This is a nice boutique hotel at a reasonable price for the area.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 303Good value
Very nice staff, attractive hotel, VERY clean. I did not eat there so cannot comment on that. I would suggest a better quality of wine for the free wine hour, but I do like the concept. I use public transportation and this is on the green line "T", and bus "69" goes to Harvard Square - which was where I was everyday.I would stay there again, depending on price-I look for discounts.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 303Hotel Marlowe - another great Kimpton Hotel
This is a great hotel and a perfect location. The hotel is pet friendly and beautifully decorated. Coffee and Wine are offered in a lovely parlor with a fireplace. The decor is bright, fun, and eclectic. Will definitely stay here again!
