Chase Suite Hotel Tampa

needs improvement

I needed an extra days stay so i spoke to the manager about it. He said no problem i paid the extra day that they wanted. When i was at work the next day my daughter called me that they wanted to kick her out, they stated we didn’t pay the extra night. I tried to explain to him I was working, I was given one hour to find the receipt or my daughter would be on the street. Well i had to leave work early (which means money) and when i got there the attendant was rude. Insisted that i did not pay, i showed my receipts and all he said was O well ok then my bad. Not even an apology. I had to ask for an apology to get one. Needless to say, I will not stay there any more. I think they need to beef up on there paper work or at the least hire a competent person that knows how to treat people and run there computers.

Beautiful - But that is the only nice thing to say......

Surrounding area and hotel room was very nice. Bed was very hard.... husband and I could not sleep well on it and both woke up unrested and with back pain. Booked a room with queen and pull out sofa. Had to go to 3 different rooms in the rain before they got it right. Remote batteries did not work and the front office could care less. Finally sent maintenace over with batteries. The continental breakfast = well - the large stack of styrofoam plates had muddy dirt all over 3/4 of them. So did the stack of napkins next to them. The area for the coffee supplies had dirt and ants. But other than these things the hotel was very pretty and had a nice set up. Easy access and nice area. All of this is pretty sad being the boast about their wonderful sheets and plush mattresses. Could have gotten over the restif the bed would have at least been nice.

Ok Room for the money

Bed and kitchen absolutely Great, Service was above average. The exterior of the hotel in the pool area was deteriorating. Air conditioning in my room was extremely noisy and kept waking me up thru the night. Heated pool was very comfortable and clean, but rather small.

Stay Away

Too many suspicious looking people roaming around the property during the day and all hours of the night. OUTDATED HOTEL!

Great Location for the Money

Hotel definitely needs updating but overall provided the experience that we were expecting. Our stay was over the Memorial Day holiday weekend with the hotel filled to capacity and having a difficult time keeping up with demand for linens, towels, maintenance, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was nice. The location is very good and conveniently positioned with a restaurant within walking distance and other attractions a short drive away. Not a four star hotel, but I would stay again if I was in the area.

Not as good as I expecteed

We had two bedrooms and were very disapointed. The only window which we could open was in the second floor. In the bedroom in first floor was very small one window. The most of the time we spent in first floor, it was the same us in the basement. There was no balcony.

Good stay with problems

Arrived the first day with the card reader not working, it was not fixed until later the next day. Hotel is rather old and seemed quite rundown. There was a random shoe we found underneath the bed that was there the entire stay. On the 2nd time that housekeeping cleaned our room, we were left with only sheets on the bed and the staff at the time was unable to resolve the issue. Basically it is a descent hotel but at the price we paid not even near worth it.
