Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 4OK.. Just OK
This hotel was ok. Just ok. The room heaters are old and radiate throught the floor. You have to park about 100 to 400 yards away from your room. The hotel does give great service and will give you golf cart service to and from you car. It is a little off the beaten path for Aspen. By this, I mean its 3 or 4 miles from down town and just not convinient for a town like Aspen. All in all its not a bad hotel. However, for the price, i would spend more and stay closer to the action.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 4Nice Rooms, HORRIBLE SERVICE
The rooms were nice. We stayed in the one bedroom suite. It was hard with young kids though because it was such a walk from the car to our room. The worst part of the experience was the staff. I felt as though I was putting them out when checking in and checking out. They don't even greet you when you walk through the door and walk up to the desk, I had the initiate each time. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk took my keys and basically threw my hotel receipt my way. No Thank you, how was your stay....NOTHING! I thought this was Aspen??? There is a lot of competition for lodging in the area and if they don't turn it around, they are going to have a very slow season.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 4Needs Improvement
Room was 85 degrees and management stated that it was hot because the sun shines on it. That was the end of it... no one was sent to check on the AC. The room was nice, but the "resort" looks like a motel. The hotel, which is on a fairly large piece of land, charges $5 for parking. At the check-in desk, I was told that the main restaurant was excellent for dinner. We left downtown (where there are many excellent restuarants)and went back to the hotel and asked for a table. They then told us that the restaurant is closed for the season. I asked why they didn't mention that when they initially pitched the restaurant. They said that it is excellent for dinner, if you were here during ski season. All-in-all the service was horrible.
