Overwhelmed with Everything--Great Place to Stay

The employees were gladly waiting on guests to arrive. They greeted us in a very friendly and courteous manner. I will be back. The employees at the service desk were really nice also.

Very Nice For the Price

Very pleased with the accommodations for the price. People were very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of meeting rooms for our conference and great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Gym is small but equipment was sufficient.

Exceeded our expectations

We were celebrating our Anniversary and so I tried to find the best deal on what I'd consider a very nice hotel in downtown Dallas. I didn't want to spend over $250 though, as I'd rather spend the extra on my wife in another way. This hotel was a steal for the price. They upgraded us at the desk to a suite since we had called and let them know in advance it was our anniversary. It was really amazing. The view from the 15th floor was gorgeous, and the luxury of the room was just right. I feel like I could have slept all day on that pillowtop bed. The hotel was located right downtown conventient to many local attractions. We did have to pay for valet, which was $21 for a 24 hour period. But we ended up taking our car out 3 times during that period, so it was well worth it. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.

Best bang for your buck

If you're staying in Dallas there is no better bang for your buck. From the staff, to the restaurant/bar, to the rooms, you cannot beat The Fairmont Dallas.

Hotel within a hotel

Our stay at the Fairmont Dallas in the Fairmont Gold City View section was very nice. It included a "commons area" with breakfast and evening snacks with complimentary beverages and an honor bar open until 11 PM, and large screen TV (which was nice during the world series). Downside for me - even though the showers were very nice (rain fall shower heads) there are no bathtubs in this section of the hotel - something they don't tell you before checking in - so if you're looking to relax and soak in the tub - NOT the spot! Otherwise, service was good, beds comfy and rooms were very clean

Wonderful Hotel

I had a wonderful time at the hotel, the people at the Front Desk were amazing! They had put me on the 5th floor which was fine, but when i went to my room my view was kind of bland haha. So i quickly ran back down to the front desk and asked if it was possible for me to get another room with a little better view, the receptionist was very very helpful and very accommodating and bumped me up to a new room which had a gorgeous view ! Overall my stay was really nice and i would def stay again and refer others.

Outstanding Hotel Experience

Hotel was clean, very elegant. The room was huge, had a nice comfortable bed, all amenities you could hope for were in there waiting for you! If you needed extras.. they were sending them up for you! The have cars that will drive you around. Not a Ford Taurus, or run of the mill taxi. But a Lexus. They have laundry services, and shoe shining outside your door! It was wonderful

Best Hotel in Dallas

I'm a jaded business traveler but I will testify that this is as good a value in a hotel as you can get. Great location in downtown. 1 block from the art museum and the free trolley to uptown/McKinley where there are tons of great places to eat and have fun . The rooms are huge and great bathroom set up. fantastic water pressure (on the 17th floor)and constant hot water. Flat screen hi def with 2 HBO channels. Maid service was the best. all the service was great. Perfect wifi. Best hotel bed and Pillows of all time.
