Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa

Great room for the money!! The room was a 1 bedroom and was like a small apartment. The room was clean and everything worked -- lights, outlets, etc. The staff was very friendly and it was very nice to have the park services right on site for buying tickets. The location is wonderful; only minutes from the main attractions. Our only concern, was our bedroom. One wall is mirrored and adjacent to that is a large window. The blinds on the window were slat type and did not fully block the window. Since the window faced a walk way, people could see right in to the room through the slate and to the mirror reflection (which gave you a view of the whole room). Sooo, watch how you dress and what activities you do in you room! Other than that, I give the room 5 stars!

Outstanding Condo at a GREAT price!!!!

This condo had a big king size bed that was super comfy with tons of pillows. The view from the balcony was great and we love that there were seats and a table on the balcony. The spa tub was relaxing after a day at Disney! We had a minor problem with the toilet on the first day but they promptly sent someone to fix it. This is a great place for families!!!

We have stayed at this hotel/resort several times. It has been our get-away close to home. We love the convenience of everything it has to offer on site as well as the surrounding areas activities. Our stay this past time was not a pleasant as the others. Mainly due to the bed being hard as a rock this time. They promptly brought us a few more mattress pads after the first night and those helped immensely. Also, for this time of year, many things were closed or not as plentiful as usual. Maybe it was the economical times we are in? Overall, we enjoy as usual our stay at this resort, and love our room's central mirrored hot tub!

Great Hotel

The Lakes Resort is convenient to all Orlando attractions. The resort itself is clean and well managed. The pools were wonderful. Very pleasant atmosphere.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE

Westgate lakes resort was so fun and exciting. We were a bit confused when we first arived, because the place was so big, but check in was a breeze. No hassles the entire stay. Walmart was less than a mile away. Every place you could want to eat at was 1 to 1.5 miles away or you could eat at the resort. Universal studios was less than 2 miles away. Seaworld was .5 miles away. Disney was about 8 miles away. This resort was in the perfect place for comfort and short drives to everywhere you want to go without the headache of noisy busy streets out front. I really felt at home. My wife and I cant wait to go back.

Good room for the money But....!

The resort room was good for the money and the location is very good but be prepared for a tag team of sales people to really put the pressure on you to buy one of their timeshares. We were not. The last thing we expected the night we arrived was to get tricked into some free breakfast followed by a 90 minute "tour" of the facilities. The next morning we felt like red meat in a large room full of fast talking piranha like sales people with a bell going off anytime someone bought a share. All we wanted was a clean quiet room and to start enjoying Orlando. The resort itself is very nice but be prepared!
