Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 77Stuck in a Tiny Room...and Multiple Trips to the Front Desk!
We received our keys at check in and took the elevator to the 7th floor where our keys wouldn't open our room...So I went downstairs to the front desk and fixed our keys. After coming back from dinner, our keys again wouldn't open our room, so back downstairs to the desk to fix our keys!(and no I did not have them next to my cell phone.) We got stuck in an approx. 5 foot shorter room than other guests, but still had a queen size bed... Made no sence to put the biggest bed they have in a tiny room. Everything was so crammed in there there was no room to move.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 77Didn't get the room I booked
Booked this room for a stay before vaction leaving out of SLC airport. I booked a King which hotel.com guarentees your booking. After returning from out of the country, arrived at hotel and there were no kings left. They gave us 2 beds instead. They offered $5 breakfast coupon as compensation. Breakfast buffet was bad, and we had no beverage service.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 77Very noisy
Our room was situated close to the night club. Two nights were so noisy we couldn't sleep until after 2:30 am. Our room was very warm and we didn't seem to be able to adjust the temperature. Friends stayed in the same area of the hotel and said they would never stay there again. The breakfast was only so-so and the serving staff were quite unfriendly. $20 breakfast vouchers for hotels.com bookees were given out inconsistently. We were allowed only one for our 3 day stay, our friends received 6 for their 6 day stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 77needs cleaning
surprised at tne lack of cleaniness: hair in the tub and on the floor. Actual dirt in the bathroom in the corners. Very noisy outside even on the 7th floor and in middle of the night. Room felt crowded. Sheets on bed were very thin/over used and would not stay on the mattress. Staff at desk very nice and efficient. Lobby attractive.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 77That 70's Show
Having stayed in Red Lion properties over the years I was shocked to see the condition of this hotel. This chain has definately gone down hill I'll never stay at another Red Lion Property, the back seat of my rental car was cleaner and less worn! Felt like I was in a time warp as the hotel had that 70's aura, feeling and look! The classic was duct tape over the wiring on the lamp next to the bed. Not the best value offered consider alternative properties before chosing this one.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 77Super Friendly Staff, but really really dirty.
I was at the Red Lion middle of July 2009. The staff could not be more friendly if they tried. From the airport shuttle staff to the front desk - everyone was SOOOOO nice! It's a shame really because the hotel was gross. Cobwebs in the bathroom on the light fixtures, dead spider on the wall. Outlets didn't work, hair wrapped around telephone. Carpet tattered, bedding stained. I stayed in a little town called Kanab Ut, right after my stay here and the little lodge was 5x cleaner! I didn't eat at the hotel (for obvious reasons after seeing my room), so I don't know how the food was. I can't speak for any other services. The stairways were dirty and dark and dead bugs in them. If the staff was smart, they would insist on a makeover and re-market the hotel as the friendliest staff around.

WHen I checked in, the staff attempted to put me in a lesser room thatn I had reserved (east side of the tower has the view). The staff is very helpful, but the hotel seems a bit tired - equipment noises. I had to check out earlier than expected, but late in the day - the staff was accomodating.
