Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 10not quite there
Inadequate work out facility. Dining so-so. Morning coffee does not come out until 7 AM - not quite there yet

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 10Little Details Missing
Stoneleigh must be on hard times. It's still a very cool art deco hotel, but lots of little things have changed. We've stayed there 5 times the past 2 years, but next trip to Dallas we'll try something else. Perhaps the problem with the companion condo development has caused hotel management to tighten the belt. But no coffee service (in-room or lobby)? Not enough linens in the bathroom -- is there a shortage of wash clothes in Dallas? No newspapers available on weekend mornings, not even at the registration desk. Details are the difference between 3, 4 and 5 stars. Sadly, Stoneleigh has slipped a notch.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 10do not stay here
The most diappointing part of my stay was that they charge Valet parking to thier customers and it is $21 a night. And there are no other options of parking from what I was told.Thre are absolutly no choices for food with in blocks of the hotel. The water presure of the shower is just a trickle.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 10Typical aging matron
The rate was excellent for a downtown hotel in any major metropolitan area. There are a lot of the expected amenities of a four star hotel. However, the two things missing that have become standard in all hotels were 1) a coffee pot for early a.m. coffee before room service was up and stirring and, 2) an ice machine someplace on the premises so guests do not have to wait for room service during the busy serving periods, or at check in time when room service is not at full staff. The lack of these two items is the reason I will not stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 10Not worth it, not enjoyable.
The room service food was horrible and incredibly overpriced, the staff was very friendly however didn't offer to do anything about inconvienences. The phone was broken in the room. Our views of "Downtown Dallas" consisted of the backside of a building underconstruction. This hotel was just not what I expected at all.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 10Bad Customer Service
My boyfriend and I went for Valentines weekend and expected an amazing hotel with great customer service and what we got were busy valets and unhelpful conceirges. We had the company car drive us to the Dallas Stars hockey game where we proceeded to have a driver who was rude and seemed angry with everything. Then we called the conceirge around 11 pm after the game asking if he knew of any restaurants in the area were open til at least midnight. to this he replied, "our nightly conceirge has gone home for the evening and I dont know anything around the area" then hung up. also the room checkout wasnt working so he had me go downstairs half way ready to go checkout. We were just not satisfied with the service. Room was great just not exceptional. Next time we are staying at the ZaZa again.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous renovations however the obnoxious noise of humming machinery coming from the other side of our wall kept us awake all night and prompted an early checkout.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 10Beware of noise
The hotel staff is very accomadating and the room was nice. If you're looking for a quiet hotel look elsewhere. We were awakened at 2:30 am by noisy guests right above our room; the hotel staff quieted them down. The next night a band was playing until midnight and was loud. You could also hear street noises very easily outside the windows. The problem is the hotel itself- an old remodeled building that does not insulate the noise like other hotels. Just know upfront what you're getting into. Also $20 per night to park your car.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 10 of 10Indifferent Hotel Attitude
Decent hotel in a great area (uptown) but the hotel staff seemed on all occasions rude and rather indifferent. Staff gets a C-, the hotel itself is great (minus the slight smell of sewage on the floor I was staying at (10th).
