This hotel is obviously undergoing change. The lobby was a mess - chairs and tables in the dining room didn't match (first impressions!). The room was basically clean but someone had spray painted and painted right on the pictures on the wall. The carpet was nasty (my bare feet were dirty after walking on it). There was hair on the bathroom floor - definitely not mine! So, if it is just a bed in the dead of night and you are waking up and leaving, it may be your place.

Not up to par

The location of this hotel is only about a mile off of I-45 so the location was great. However there was some road construction which caused us to have to drive an awkward route and through a restaurant parking lot to actually get to the hotel (of course that will be different when the construction is finished). We waited at the front desk to check in for about 10-15 minutes before anyone even came out to help us. We had reserved a room with a king size bed, but when we checked in we were told there were none available and given a room with 2 doubles. Our smoke detector went off in our room while I was showering and continued to go off for about 15 minutes...when I called down to see what we should do, the hotel employee said, "you must have been showering with the door open," so I assume that happens to guests often. side note: be careful if you purchase anything from the snack machine...everything is 75 cents, but it didn't have any quarters in it, so when my husband put in his dollar, he did not get his change back.

Poor Service

Don't use a pseudonym as your registration name. This hotel had no sense of humor about it and I ended up having to talk to three different customer service reps and waiting 20 minutes before they would let me check in. The front desk clerk was rude about helping us getting the matter resolved. And seemed very unprofessional. He was more pre-occupied with socializing with friends who were lounging in restricted areas. The hotel was poorly maintained; missing wallpaper, hair dryer didn't work, some bulbs were out in the room. You can get much better quality for the same cost nearby.

Needs Improvement

Hotel is old and not well maintained. Staff appeared uninterested in job. But most importantly, there was no coffee maker in room!!

It was just okay for the price I paid

The inn has room for improvement,it seemed to be on the right track for the past renovations but not quite up to standard.

Disappointing

The main reason we chose this motel was the hot tub and the waffles for breakfast-the hot tub, which had cold water and we were told the heater was not working.The waffles were not very tastey. Also, the mattress protector caused sweating.
