An OK stay

Stayed on 7/2/09. Hotel was adequate, but nothing stellar. They advertised a breakfast. But the only thing they had was coffee and pastries that looked like they were from Sam's Club. The view was great, however, from the room. The room was clean but somewhat dated. So all in all, it was an adequate stay.

It was ok

Our hotel stay was just "ok"....no coffee pot or iron/ironing board in room....room had bugs in it.

Service?

I should begin this review saying that overall our vacation was great. When we arrived the staff was not friendly at all. Extremely rude and refused to let me read the contract I was signing. After the mess of checking in a few of the staff members were not excited to be at work. On multiple occasions we would ask the hotel staff for recommendations on local restaurants and attractions. After a quick recommendation some of the staff members felt the need to complain about their job. The hotel is very minimal and doesn't offer much. The breakfast in the morning only serves juice, bad coffee, and gas station pastries. I am still unsure if I would return again. I would recommend to the staff to work on hospitality and customer service. Be careful when staying at this establishment.

Needs to be cleaned

Floors in hall ways and rooms dirty tile grout stained and not clean should be much cleaner for a hotel thats only 4 yrars old

rooms need to be cleaned

the room we stayed in needed a good cleaning , and the staff need to be more nicer to there guest they were not family friendly hotel . there breakfast was no more then a small pastry,water down orange juice & coffee . like i said there not what they a per to be , the lobby was clean but the rooms was not at all clean . i had to ask the house keeper to mop the floor in the bathroom. before we used the bathroom i sprayed it down with disinfectant spray . I'm not a picky person but this was not a good clean hotel. you have to ask for a iron . at the front desk and take to your room. the staff can't even bring it up there . and towels we had to ask for towels and was told they didn't have any extra ones . we found towels hanging on a room door so we took them because we didn't have any in our room . we will not be going back there . i'm not the only one that had a bad stay there was a lady when we were leaving telling the front desk what she thought of this hotel and it wasn't good by any miens.

Needs Improvement

Room view was excellent, Shower had no pressure and stayed there two nights 3 days, and received no not 1 new clean towel. Used same 3 towels for 3 days. Continental Breakfast consisted of 2 pots of coffee and 10 or 12 donuts. Need to vamp up Hotel Services and Continental Breakfast offering or stop offering at all. Need a lounge or cafe on the premises for eating. Possibly some games in the game room for children. May even consider a better vending machine supplier due to lack of choices in the vending machines

Bathromm door broken @ top hinge. Pool dirty No enough cleaning staff. Front desk staff very helpful and very nice.

Lacks attention to detail

This could be a nice hotel if they used quality room furnishings. The room was a nice size. The air-conditioner unit wasn't able to handle the Florida humidity and that made the room feel humid and sticky. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows even worse. The bathroom felt like it was constructed by the cheapest bidder. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Not what I expected

Great location. Very poor location of the pool. By 2:30 pm, the building had put the pool in total shade. If you want the sun after that time you need to go to the beach. Were not able to use the pool because of this when we wanted because we came here for sun. Bathroom door was off the hinges and the shower leaked out because the curtains were not big enough. Toilet paper can not be reached from toilet.Rooms were large and nice view of the beach

Poor construction

I chose the hotel because it was one of the newer ones on the beach. The positives were the room size, it had a private balcony, and it was right on the beach. The negatives had to do with poor quality. The walls were uneven and had a lot of scuff marks on them, the tile was poorly grouted, the bathroom had a granite counter but a $10.00 faucet and the toilet paper holder was a good 2 feet out of reach. The AC unit had to either be constantly running or turned off and blew the curtains over the table and chairs so you couldn't sit at them. The refrigerator had mold all along the bottom of it and on the dial probably a result of them turning it on and off. The microwave needed a good scrubbing and the room did not have a coffee maker. I don't think I have stayed at a hotel that did not have a coffee maker with coffee provided. The room also had a funny smell. I would suggest they change their cleaning supplies.

Did Not Meet Expectations

Although the description claimed the facility was four years old, it did not appear to be that recent and was very rough around the edges. It was minimally acceptable for a place to simply stay overnight and should in no way be considered a destination hotel.
