Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 144Jack hammers & Fire alarm @ 7am
The hotel was remodeling and the alarms kept going off! It was miserable! They also booked us in a room that was directly below the remodel! It was insane... I won't be staying there again.

This is am older hotel, with a great location, but dated rooms.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 144House keeping
I'm not sure if they have scaled down staff but we did not see housekeeping in our room until after 6PM the first two nights. The third morning that we were checking out they showed up at our room at 7:30AM, again at 8, repeatedly until our 11AM check in. Considering our room wasn't available until 5PM on check in day this was not satisfying.

The towels were dingy and rough...bleach works, but obviously no one at Harrah's has figured that out! It was day three before they left shower gel and a shower cap, but that was the only time they left these items...unbelievable. Given the fact that I only requested the bed be changed every other day, one would think they could have at least done a good job on the bathroom..not even close. I eventually went to the drugstore and purchased a pack of sponges and cleaning supplies. If there is a next time, I will spend extra money and definitely avoid Harrah's.

For the money there is a lot of other options that are newer and more updated.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 144a few things
I found it disturbing that the air conditioning was on in the hotel but one wall that led into a pavilion was completely open.... no doors. It was not energy efficient. The beds weren't very soft. All else was good.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 144If you are looking for dirty, old & poor service then this is the hotel for you
Other people's leftover food from previous stay in our room (housekeeping said they don't deal with food), no wireless Internet (though support kept me on hold for two hours saying there was and they just needed to rest things), a miserable hotel manager, elevators that didn't work, hairs (not ours) in the bath, mold around the tub and toilet, rips in the bed frame, gross stains on the floor- and this was a room that was upgraded. I hated it here and recommend you stay away. It was so bad I had to take pictures to show others.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 144It has room for improvement
The hotel was OK (rooms are not particularly good, just OK), but the location is great. We had big issues with services that the hotel sells as extra, like internet connectivity (via phone?!!!). Besides being charged too much for this service, it did not work consistently. We had to try several times every time to try to connect, but it was just aggravating.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 144Smokey, crowded & smelly
This hotel was very smokey and didn't feel clean. When you checked in the staff was unfriendly, and reminded me more of the check out clerk at a grocery store. What a difference coming from the Red Rocks Resort!
