The shuttle service was good and the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately the hotel is located in a bad neighborhood and is not located in an area easily accessable to dining or shopping.

Great location, great shuttle service,and excellent staff. However, the building itself wasn't that great when built, and it still isn't. Rooms are dark, as curtains must remain closed. Neighborhood isn't the best.

Main complaint was the bed. Mattress extremely uncomfortable. Bed pillows were like shredded foam rubber in a bag. Also, hotel was busy the night before, therefore rooms were ready late, and had to wait till almost 5:00 to get clean towels. Waited in the lobby till 4:00 (1 hour past check in time) and were not told when room was ready. Desk said it was the maid's fault for not reporting it ready. Location was convenient, but probably won't stay there again unless it has major renovation.

We booked a reservation at the Ramada since it was close to the cruise port terminal. Figuring that a Ramada would be a good choice we were disappointed in the condition and service of the hotel. The hotel itself was old, the lobby area and restaurants had dishes and waste all around. I was really surprised at how badly it all looked. Had we been there for more than a night we would have checked out and went to another hotel. After this experience, I feel that saving a few extra dollars is not worth it and will gladly pay more to stay at a Hilton or Hyatt.

This is a tired old hotel that is convenient only to the airport. Unless you have your own car, you're stuck. It's located right "on" the intersection of two major highways, SR84 and I-95, and there is nothing you can walk to. Consequently you are captive to their restaurant, and while the service was very good and the staff very polite, the food was mediocre at best. Even the vending machines had stale food. Although the price was right, next time I'll choose a hotel where I can at least walk to a convenience store or fast food outlet.

Great location to get to and from airport. Shuttle service a big factor when choosing this hotel. Disappointed with the condition of the hotel, very dated and in bad need of updates. Room was clearly 1950's style. Bedding horrible, and blanket felt like cardboard. Would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is not the same business as the restaurant accessed only through the hotel and the pool bar. They do not accept room charges, the food is poor in both quality and cooking. Sign said to wait for seating, but the waitress just gestured with her head towards a booth (that was already in use). I waited and she finally said sit anywhere. Instead of giving me the lunch menu, she gave me the bar menu (I did not know the difference till I went out to the bar by the pool later.) by 2pm on Sunday they had already run out of bacon for their potato skins, club sandwich, etc. (She ran through a list of unavailable). I ordered a cold turkey san. which they said was real turkey, not pressed roast (but it was a pressed turkey breast) it came warm, even the lettuce was warm and the "butter" melted. The next morning I saw the "butter": a large white tub with white something in it that had a "butter" sign on a stick. (probably 90% margerine according to smell). Buffet was sticky buns, toast, p-nut butter, cereal. uggh. I tried to eat at the airport, but their "restaurant" was a donut store with scrammbled egg bagels. The shuttle bus is by appointment only, every hour, but the drivers were very nice. The sleep number bed was a pain, you have to lie on it and guess what number for each side separatly. Guess wrong and you are in pain. I was exhausted from moving from side to side.

When I saw the pictures of this property online I thought what a great place for such a reasonable price. Well, you get what you pay for. While I knew the main purpose of this property would be to stay the night before our flight to Jamacia, It was part of our vacation and wanted it to be clean and comfortable. We were checked in by an over-worked, weary looking attendant and found our room wreaking of a strange smell. We couldn't figure out if it was mold, or possibly cat urine from the several wild cats we noticed running around the property. The attendant claimed not to know what we were talking about but apologized and promptly moved us to a room that didn't smell and was acceptable. The restaurant bar was closed by 10pm and my boyfriend was forced to order delivered take out because there were no other food options nearby. In the morning I needed to print and fax a document, however the printer was broken and the front desk offered me no other solutions. A positive was the free, and tasty breakfast buffet , and the shuttle service was quick and dependable.

Needs improvement on the cleanliness of the hotel corridors.

We do apologize for any inconveniences during your stay. We do, however, have a full staff housekeeping staff attending the rooms and property daily (including the hotel corridors) and we also have a night maid in the evening for our guests' convenience. Our housekeeping staff received top scores during the hotel's most recent inspection and it is among one of our top priorities along with guest satisfaction.

I thought the hotel was walking distance from the airport.At least that's what it said when i looked the hotel up.And we didnt see no cruise boat nor did the hotel look anything like the picture on the web site.We think the price was entirely to much for that kind of hotel what you go in from the outside.Last but not least the continental breakfast is not worth 9.50 if you dont have a free breakfast ticket to eat with.

Our websites all say we are 1.5 miles from the airport and unfortunately, there are no hotels within walking distance to the Fort Lauderdale airport. We do offer the courtesy shuttle from the Fort Lauderdale airport and also the Port Everglades (which is also 1.5 miles away from the hotel). Our hotel pictures are taken by Ramada employees at various times during the day and are only of the actual hotel property. We do apologize for your unsatisfactory stay but thank you for your comments.
