Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 32It will do in a pinch.
It was alright the furniture is a little old and there are a lot of scratch makes on the furniture. It is easy to get a nicer hotel. The strange thing is that even though the other hotels are nicer they are also cheaper.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 32Radisson helps me to miss my flight home
The wakeup never occurred, the shuttle that I scheduled I was not on and nobody noticed. The staff lack of customer concern cost me 5 hours, 150$ to rebook the flight, and 75$ to shuttle to a different airport. When I discussed the problem the staff repeatedly told me they would look into it and no one ever got back to me even though I stayed at the hotel for a couple of more weeks, because I was curious if anyone would show any amount of customer service. In the end the staff offered to give me 100$ off of the rate for a week stay after I finally contacted the corporate Radisson office to inform them of the complete lack of professionalism for this hotel.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 32There are more fees when you get there!!!
After pre-paying for our room, we thought that we were in the clear, but when we got there they wanted to charge and additional $50 to our card for 'incidentals'. Noone from the hotel or hotels.com told us about this. Since we had a $400 hold on our card for our rental car, we didnt have the room on our card. We offered to give them double the deposit in cash. They WOULD NOT ACCEPT CASH. How stupid is that!!! They would not refund the card so we could find a different hotel and we almost ended up sleeping in our car in 100 degree weather!!! Luckiy, our friend offered to put the dep on his credit card... but if we hadnt known anyone in san jose, we for sure would have been sleeping streetside!!! I am so disgusted with the lack of customer care by this hotel and will NEVER stay at a radisson again.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 32Does not feel like a Radisson
I stayed in this hotel many times, but only because it was near my job site. The rooms look antiquated and carpets seem dirty. I kept staying at this hotel only because of the price and location. I had enough when I had to take a cold shower, I even got burned when I turned up the hot water....Waited and waited for it to warm up, until unexpectedly it sprayed extremely hot water for 1-3 seconds then stopped. I complained to management and received 5,000 gold points... Which is not even enough for a free roll of TP. Hope this helps....

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 32Awful Restaurant, don't go there
The hotel itself is very nice and the front desk check in team, the shuttle personnel, etc. were all terrific. However, this is the worst restaurant I've been in in a long time. Took a client there and it was an awful mistake. Service was terrible, wait staff clueless and when the food arrived VERY late it was cold and disgusting. It looked worse than a thawed out frozen dinner. Menu prices were high for what you received and the food was terrible. I was embarrassed to have taken a client there. It was nearly deserted in the first place and I think they had cut staff so much that no one really knew what was going on. Awful.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 32Radisson
The Radisson is in need of some cleaning up. Our bed linens were not clean, the duvet had some weird black stuff on it. The carpet in the lobby was torn and well worn. The couch in our room had shredded cushions. The pool was cold and full of leaves. The restaurant was dirty and empty. The bath tub in our room had been painted and the paint was peeling off. The neighborhood did not have any other restaurants or shops, we had to get in our car and drive to find everything. The neighborhood did seem safe though.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 32A little shabby
The towel was torn, the carpet was stained, and the general feel was of a place that needs a little TLC. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very near the airport, though the area is basically industrial.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 32Additional Charges
The bussiness center where you can use the printer and computer requires credit cards deposits and I was charged $138 dollars for five minutes. Printer and color printer was broken also. It took four business days to get money refunded for overcharge.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 32Nice quite place
This hotel was very quite, neat & the room was very cozy. Free wireless & parking was a nice deal as well. The deli wasn't that great and food was pricy.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 32Beware! Bugs, bugs, bugs!!!
Wow! I was fairly satisfied with my stay at the San Jose Airport Radisson hotel until my third night. At about 12:30 am I was awaken by the feeling of something crawling on my arm. I jumped out of bed, turned on the light, and found a little beetle type bug crawling in my bed. I killed the bug and thought that I better take a closer look at the bed before going back to sleep. I found 4 more of these bugs ranging in size from tiny to about a centimeter in length. Oh, and by the way, I did get bit on my arm. Needless to say I was disgusted! For my inconvenience the hotel offered to give me a free breakfast. Pathetic! I won't be staying there again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 32Low cost should not necessarily mean low class!
Nothing says, I've got your money, I'm not returning it and I could care less about your experience at my facility, like a filthy room. When I stepped off the elevator and saw chunks of the floor chipped out and stained/scared walls I knew that this might be a more different stay than had previously been experienced at other Radisson Hotels. Three chairs, all so stained and with filthy armrests so that I couldn't trust using them. Stained bedspread was pushed off the bed so that I wouldn't have physical contact, only to find the same stained spread placed on the bed for the next night. Furniture was chipped and dated. While I wouldn't classify myself as a germiphobe, I do adhere to the same standards of cleanliness and decency as should be expected in any civilized culture. If this organization is this flagrant about the visual cues to the poor state of the room, what was happening at the microbial level? I had a two night reservation, but left after one night. You win Radisson, I won't be back. My health and safety are that important to me.
