Poor desk service

The good qualities of this hotel were detracted from by poor service at the desk. Breakfast was difficult due to poor planning of the food counter and no help from the staff to get things moving.

Ants

There was an issue with the Ants, I asked for the room to be sprayed and it was not, nor did they offer me another room. I called the front desk several times and there was no answer. I was not pleased on this stay. My other stays here have been wonderful however.

Didn't live up to other reviews

Based on the other reviews listed, I expected this hotel to be fantastic. The room was big and clean, but we had requested a non-smoking room. The room we got reeked of smoke and when we requested a move, we were told that the room was non-smoking and another room wouldn't be made available. We had our 3 1/2 month old son with us and ended up opening all the windows to try to air out the room. We left as soon as possible and won't be staying there again.

Attitude of Hotel Staff

I have booked many rooms on the internet over the years. This one reached a new low for Hotel Staff. On check in the Hotel Staff was surley and combative. They tried to hide their agreement that I would abide by the rules by folding the form so that only the space for my signature was visable. I opened it up and read it and asked what it was all about. They told me that if I didn't sign it, I could not stay there. There was nothing unreasonable about the form. Their attitude toward it and me was very combative. If I had another option, I would have left immediately and found somewhere else to go. Save yourself the grief and don't go there. There are many other Hotels that welcome you and are glad to have you. Here it was a definite inconvienence to the staff.

Needs Improvement

Our room was absolutely discusting. Everything in it was so old. It smelt musty and dirty. The hide a bed had springs sticking threw it to sleep on. We do not even drink and woke up to our outside door with beer bottles in front of it. We had lots of spiders and bugs in the room and outside. We ended up spending very little time in the room. Went over to the Marriot and spent most of our time. I would not recomend this place to anyone.

Is not worth the money

Highly Overrated this room should be 60.00 per night at most. I will not stay again.

BED BUGS

So I am Soldier getting to go to Iraq. I stayed at the Holtze Exec Vill to meet my girlfriend who was flying in to spend some time with me before i leave. We got in the bed and a few seconds later my girlfriend found a bug in the bed with us... Not good considering we were naked.. it was already late (2am) but when i called the next morning (8am) they didnt send anyone to clean the room until like 4pm.. I would not recommend. Plus the TVs need to be upgraded to make up for the small rooms...

weirdest setup

athe room was small. the queen bed was a double, very small. Odd layout of the room. More access to a fold out bed , not used, than the regular bed. Huge cabinet takes up room. Employees seemed last when asked a question. The breakfast pancakes and french were dry and tasteless. I will not be back.

Don't rely on their shuttle transportation

I did not rent a car when I was at the hotel for business. I had called ahead to schedule van service from the hotel to the office for both days of my stay about a week prior to my arrival. When I was checking and and asked to reconfirm, my request had not been recorded. Luckily, there were no conflicts so I was able to reschedule the service. Also, the hotel advertises van service from 6 am until 9pm. I asked about service to the mall for two nights of my stay and was told that there were no drivers after 6pm. Since the hotel is in an office park type area, there is not a lot of variety of places to go within walking distance. The rooms at the hotel are OK - they are smaller than I felt like they were advertised to be. A Residence Inn would have provided much better space for a stay. I have to stay that the room was clean and in decent repair, and the bed was very comfortable.

Mediocre Hotel

For the rating and cost of this hotel room, we were fairly let down. I was disappointed. It was extremely comfortable. But not as clean as I would prefer. I didn't feel all that safe with the set up of the hotel. It is an open air hallway set up like an apartment complex. Parking lot not very lit.

somewhat disappointing

Rooms are located in separate buildings; you have to walk outdoor to get breakfast, nice in the summer, unpleasant in the winter! Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. The queen bed in my room was uncomfortable, I woke up with neck and back aches. Room was small (european style) and smelled of pizza and bad cheese from the dirty microwave oven. I called front desk to have microwave cleaned but nobody came. They didn't clean the room or do the bed after the first night!
