Needs Improvement

Although the star rating is not that high, I still expect a place to have key cards that work right away and a clean room. The carpet had a big stain on it, and the hot breakfast items did not look "tasty" to say the least. I must say that the front desk staff was more than gracious; however.

The room smelled The bathroom door was off the hing The shower head was not working right The coffee pot was broken The bathtub and sink stoppers were broken I paid a lot for this room only to find out the people next door paid a lot less for a better room.

UNEXPECTED

We were surprised that the hotel was not maintained at all and that their photos in the internet versus actual are totally different.

"Needs Improvement"

Hotel needs a lot of updating, for the price Im sure there is much better out there. Asked for a simple request form front desk/housekeeping and no one ever showed up. Actually felt dirtier using the shower, weird feeling under my feet.

Dirty Room, No A/C

There was a lot of hair and bugs on the floor of the bathroom. The A/C did not work at all. We could hear the people at the front desk telling other patrons a rehearsed line that indicated that the A/C is always a problem. Other than cleanliness and no A/C, okay for the price.

SOME LIKE IT HOT

THE ROOM I HAD WAS NOT COOLING OFF,SO THEY MOVED ME TO ANOTHER ROOM , THAT ROOM WAS THE SAME AS THE OTHER ROOM ,AND IT DIDNT GET ANY BETTER , SO I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A FAN AND HAD AN OK NIGHT , AREA IS GREAT , BUT THE ROOMS WERE JUST TO DARN HOT , MAYBE IN WINTER IF I EVER GO BACK ILL STAY THERE.

Beware: Not what they advertise

There was supposed to be a fridge and microwave, there wasn't. It claimed to have a fitness center. They had a room for it but it was empty. They should change their description. The hotel itself wasn't bad, just not what it said it was. The reason I don't recommend it is because of false advertising. Other than that it wasn't bad and their service was good.

Under Construction

The place was under construction so it was a little run down. The continental breakfast wasn't any good at all burnt eggs and crispy bacon. The only thing that was good about the place was the location. It was close to downtown and there where many bars in the area. I would never stay at this place again. Pay the extra twenty dollars and stay across the street.

Excellent breakfast

Hotel good for the money. Very good breakfast. However, don't get a room that has access to the outside (traffic noise, safety issues). Room inside with door to locked hallway better. Upstairs room away from street best to keep out sound from people talking near the bar.

Needs Improvement

The hotel room had peeling wallpaper, dirty areas on the wallpaper, the tub was not in good condition and the T.V. had poor reception many times. The price was reasonable.

Disappointed

Our stay was for one night only. It was going just fine until the morning of check out we found a cochroach in the bathroom. Enough said!!

Needs Improvement but a good price

The hotel was in a great location. However, you can tell they are not wanting to do much to it since it will be torn down this time next year. Hot tub was barely warm. Constantly had to ask them to turn the heat on . Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Very old though . Staff was nice though.
