Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 1 of 23Very Busy - Not Ideal for Relaxing Getaway
We were staying at the hotel because we were attending a Rams game the next day. We arrived in the early evening to a packed lobby and long line at check-in. Upon check-in the concierge explained that the room we had booked (and already paid for) was no longer available, but offered to put us in a room with two double beds. The accomodation was not ideal, but we were glad to even get a room. There was also some type of convention happening at the hotel, so it was hard to maneuever to a different section of the hotel to catch the elevator. The room had a great view, and decent amenities. The cleaning job looked a bit hasty, but nothing that caused us to change rooms. The location is incredibly convenient, and the discounted parking rate offered by the hotel beats paying for parking at the garage. The restaurant and hotel bar was nice as well, and we had some great appetizers and drinks. Overall, I would probably stay there again, but not during baseball or football season.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 23Didn't get what we paid for.
Reserved a king size room but was told it would not be available until later. We had to settle for 2 double beds. Room was also to have view of arch, ours ended up having view of industrial buildings. They had a band playing outside until at least 1:00 a.m. that could be heard even on the 5th floor.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 23Not A Good Experience
I stayed at this hotel due to it being close to the Busch Stadium and was shocked when they had a sign up for 24 Hour parking for $24, rather than the $16 listed on the website. My friends and I were asked to leave the lobby and the security people were very rude to them for asking for some autographs from minor league baseball players staying there with us that did not mind signing autographs at all. These were not the major league all stars and they were sitting or standing around doing nothing. I was forced to stand outside of my own hotel just to meet minor league baseball players, who were all very cool guys. The bedspread had stains and dirt on it and the hotel did not have free wireless internet, which just amazes me for the price that we paid. The television defaults to hotel-sponsored commercials on other stations and it was ridiculous to have to hear about the hotel's selection of adult movies every 5 minutes. When we went to get our car, the valet staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional. I was asked to pay an additional $10 for my parking because they had added small print on my valet ticket that stated it wasn't really 24 hour parking, it was parking that expired at 2pm, and I checked out at 3pm. I'm not going to tip a valet service when I've just been taken for over twice what the hotel's website information said I would need to pay to park my car. The hotel is surrounded by one way roads and construction, which pretty much requires you to valet park your car. I'm just glad it's over and done with. Will never stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 23disappointed
Bathroom was too small for two people to use at the same time. Could not open door and keep using the mirror. Also contacted some kind of biting bug that caused huge welts that lasted for the next week. Definitely not a good experience. It was a very convenient location and the staff was very friendly.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 23Fine hotel, but not where we wanted to be,
The hotel was right next to the more historical pieces of St. Louis. Unfortunately, those historical things only take a couple of hours to see and peruse. After that, it was pretty boring. Everything near this hotel was closed on Saturday. I would suggest going further west. There are some really nice places in the University City area that would make for a good retreat and they are close enough to to the Arch and the Jefferson Memorial to make a quick trip. As far as the hotel, it left a little to be desired.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 23Left my door open
After coming back to the hotel from a full day of work i found the door propped open with the slidelock. Nothing was missing but this means that my room was open the entire day since the maid had come to clean the room. UNACCEPTABLE

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 23Everything costs and was extremely high
The rooms were very small and everything costs, even self park. For the price you pay they should at least validate parking all the way. The breakfast was extremely over priced and low quality. I expected a lot better for the type of hotel, hotel chain, and price for room. I reserved a city view and got the view of a parking lot....

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 23Small room, not ready on time
We checked into the hotel almost one hour after the available check-in time. We were told that our room was not available, please check back in 20 minutes. We did, only to be told to check back in 20 minutes. We gave them in addition to the 20, an extra 15 minutes. Our room was still not ready. They were apologetic, but after being on the road for 3 hours, at the zoo for 4 hours and the arch for 2 hours, all we wanted was to get to our room. After being in the lobby with all our luggage and the kids, we were finally told our room was available 2 hours after checking in! To me, that is not acceptable, and we will not book at this hotel again. Not to mention that in the haste to clean our room, there was hair in the shower and urine on the toilet when you lifted up the lid. It was disgusting! Rooms are small, bathroom is tiny and for the price we paid, it was not worth it.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 23"NOT FOR THE MONEY"
The rooms were really small. We had double beds and I'm 5'8 and my feet were almost of the bed. The beds were too small for the price you pay to stay downtown.

We thought we were paying for one of their best rooms and paid extra for the "Ball Park" view. The room, on the 19th floor, was extremely small. The "Ball Park" view was a side view of left field. You couldn't see the infield!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 23Poor in every way.
Arrived for check in about 6:30pm only to be told that they had 4 rooms left and none of them had a king sized bed. I had pre-paid for the room almost 2 months earlier and had called making sure that I would get a King sized bed. Instead after much delay I got a queen sized bed in a handicap accessible room. The bathroom ceiling was pealing and there were stains on the wall in the bathroom. The bed had only a pillow top cover but was rock hard. There also was no chair in the room to relax in other than a office chair. For the price paid and the service I received this is the last time I will be staying at this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 23Overpriced, but Good for a Cardinals Game
Good location and atmosphere if you are going to a Cardinals game, but overpriced for what you get. Bathrooms are extremely small, beds are comfortable but small, elevators take forever during busy times, and parking is high and inconvenient if you plan on getting out more than once a day. We requested a stadium view and were told over the phone they would make a note of it, but when we got there we were told that those rooms had sold out months ago. The Starbucks in the lobby is nice, and there is complimentary face painting or balloon animals on game days. Overall, it is okay, but not worth the high price tag.

Small bathrooms. Bad elevators. Nice bed. It's a nice Hotel, but it shouldn't cost that much.
