Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 30Decent Hotel but Elevators Awful
The recent redo of rooms and public areas is quite nice for the price. Air conditioning makes loud noise frequently and wakes people up. Elevators are horrible and it was not unusual to have to wait 5-10 minutes to get down. The hotel needs to address this basic requirement for me ot recommend it.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 30Unexpected
The hotel seemed like a good bargain by compairing it to other hotels in the area. That was until they said that we would have parking to our bill. $15 dollars per day per vehicle, luckily we only had two. However this unexpected fee caused this hotel to be more expensive than several of our other choices. We arrived on Wednesday and our neighbors had room service brought up that night. When we checked out on Sunday, we had to tell the desk clerk that our neighbors food tray was still sitting outside the room. The biggest and most upsetting surpise came when we got back to our room on Saturday and our belongings had been moved around and at least two of our suitcases had been rummaged through. Nothing was missing, but that was very upsetting. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 30Service leaves something to be desired.
Things started downhill since I got there. They have canceled my reservation (without calling me) because I arrived late (the lady from the graveyard shift) eve though I made the reservation that night. They charged my credit card, so I had 2 charges. There was food on the hall from another guest room service for the entire 4th of July weekend and when I went to use the Gym no water in the cooler and trash haven't been emptied. The only positive was Tim the bellman who was very helpful. Kind of crapy for the Sheraton name.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 30Made me sick...in more ways than one
I had reserved a King room at the Sheraton for my brother's wedding over Columbus Day Weekend. When I attempted to check in, a very rude service person told me that I would have a Queen room. When I explained that I had requested a King room, she said there was nothing she could do. When I pressed that there must be something she could do, she offered me free parking. That was the highlight of the hotel. As the Sheraton is an older building, it's heating and cooling system is also old. After falling asleep Friday night, I awoke at 1:00 in the morning on Saturday with a horrible sore throat from the air conditioner. Turning the air off only made the tiny Queen room unbearable, so I thought once I got out for the day I'd be fine. Nope- I ended up with bronchitis. When I left my room to check out on Sunday morning, I noticed several dried vomit stains on the carpet- presumably from partiers the night before. I guess no one on staff had noticed this. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Great location. Within walking distance of many restaurants and business buildings. Room was small and hotel could have been cleaner.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 30- Watch Out- Double Charged for Stay
Hotels.com made it easy and affordable to stay at this pricey hotel for a family wedding so several of us booked with hotels.com for a lower fare than the hotel offered for the wedding party. Problem is, though we paid in advance with hotels.com for the entire stay, and confirmed at check in our hotels.com reseervations, the hotel charged the credit card they were "holding for incidentials" the entire room rates also. A few of us were charged twice and it was a mess to resolve with our banks, credit card companies and the hotel manager. This was a hotel error, not hotels.com. The hotel manager explained that his desk stafff were not properly entering the check in information in the computer, causing the night auditor to assume charges were authorized and valid. I caution folks who use hotels.com and prepay thier reservations to be sure the hotel is not also charging. This hotel also allows dogs and we had a barking dog in the room next to us all weekend.

I was there for a little R&R and I reserved a king bed but they gave me a queen which i would have dealt with but when i took a shower it was drained and ater spilled overflowed on the floor. The good thing is they gave ne a bigger better room.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 30Not what I expected
I was disappointed to find out when we arrived at the hotel that most of it was under contruction. We had small children with us who were expecting to be able to swim, however due to the construction we weren't able to utilize this eminity. This made it someone difficult to keep the children entertained.
