Bally's Las Vegas is a tired hotel. It needs some TLC. Too bad its owner has so many properties on the strip. They probably don't know where to start.

While this hotel is in a great location, the room was not as top-notch as I expected. The phone was not working in our room and it took a second contact and 24 hours before it was fixed. In the bathroom, the showerhead was missing, and the exhaust fan did not work. If I go back to Vegas I would not stay at this hotel again.

I travelled to Vegas for a conference and stayed at Bally's as that was where the conference was. The hotel seems like it has not been updated at all and although it was clean the carpets in the room were very worn and the overall feel was outdated. The other main problem I had was the smokiness of the casino and I could smell the smoke from the casino all the way into the conference rooms.

Big hotel. Really nice room. We were on the 5th level with a great view on the air conditions... but you are in Vegas for the party! Staff is unfriendly and rude. All other amenities are very expensive. No free Internet...

The best part of our recent stay at Bally's was the young woman who checked us in.She was sweet and very helpful. The place is smelly from cigerettes (need new air filters or something ). The room is big but has furniture is from the 1970's and all dinged up. The bed linens were crisp but a blanket would of been nice. The bathroom was just plain awful. The toilet didn't work properly so we had to call maintence to fix it. The grout is falling out and dirty in the shower and we even got a recycled wash cloth. It was used on one side to wipe off makeup, refolded and put back like it was never used. Room service was over priced. $20.00 for a pot of coffee. ($13.99 + tax and a hotel charge of 2.50 per person (2)to use the cup. If you want to have a Viva Las Vegas time stay somewhere else.

Since I stayed at the Venetian and Palms hotels before, my opinion may be biased. We chose this hotel because of the central location. However, my stay did not seem like "home", as the water was hard and the shower very basic. The bed was alright. I was so excited to go home, which is sad when you're in Vegas! For those who want clean and basic rooms, this is your hotel. For those who want something more, Bally's is not recommended.

At first, I was pleased to find a cheaper price at the Bally's considering the location. However, it happens that the Bally's is outdated and is not really a smoke free environment. I had pretty much to change my clothing each time I had to go across the casino. Talking about gambling, I could not stay and gamble there due to the smoke and I had to go gamble at the Bellagio's or the Caesars. The Paris hotel had the same issue even though it looked much nicer.

Was very disappointed with the hotel atmosphere. Paid extra money for an upgrade, yet room was definitely not upgrade. Guest check in staff were rude and condescending. Stayed at Ballys few years ago realy enjoyed it, but this time was different. Room was not appealing, general areas looked filty and overcrowded. Staff were not welcoming at all. Will not stay at Ballys again neither will I recommmend Ballys to others.

Our room with the two queens did not have comforters of bedspreads on either bed and both rooms. Both rooms were very cold it was hard to get the thermostat adjusted correctly.

This hotel is located in a good location, the overall maintance of the hotel is pretty good, except the rooms seem a little old. House keeping did not clean the garbage we had in the trash cans for the 3 days we were there.

I was surprised when I found out they charge $3 a day to use the safe in your room. There also no fridge and no coffee maker. Rooms are old but mine was spacious. Only good thing is the location of the hotel, right in the middle of the strip.
