Noisy, Loud, Boorish guests

It was not the fault of the hotel, but the two nights that I stayed there, there were loud, boorish guest traveling the hallways at all hours of the night. I was awakened several times during both nights with multiple other guest talking, laughing, yelling in the hallways. No respect for other guests. Again, not the hotel's fault but I would rather stay where the other guests are a bit more concerned for their fellow guest. Other than that, the hotel and room was clean and well cared for but I did not feel that the price paid (even with Hotels.com involved) gave that much additional service. My stay was OK but there are certainly better values and better locations to be had for the casual traveler.

I could not believe how rudely I was treated

I really don't even know what to say. As the cab that had been hailed for me was no more than 5 feet away a bellman leapt in front of me and put someone else's bags in the taxi. He didn't even provide an explanation until confronted. Then he made up a lie about this taxi accepting credit cards, which was nonsense as the next one did as well (i paid with credit card and still have the receipt). When I emailed the manager upon my return, he bought the bellman's story, and ended the email with we look forward to seeing you again.... THERE ARE LOTS OF GOOD HOTELS IN LONDON...AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

good, not great

Nice hotel in a good spot but the neighborhood has gotten very very loud and the hotel has a lot of functions all the time in the lobby and the party rooms which makes the place a real zoo most of the time. When you're in your room it's okay, but the time getting to your room and waiting for the elevator is not all that pleasant. It's a good hotel but not a great one my any stretch..

"Great location, but too loud"

The room was last, but stark. No clock, no lamps. And the window was too small for the size of the room. The hotel is quite large. I had requested a non-smoking room, which I got, but somehow I ended up across the hall from a group of suites that were all smoking. The place was just too noisy though. I could here all the comings and goings on my floor, and the cleaning staff were incredibly early and noisy. As I was leaving, the bell man and the door man had a tug of war over my suitcase--soemthing to do about which taxi I got into to the airport. I have never seen anything like it before in my life. Even the taxi driver was baffled. I would not stay there again.

5 star hotel with 1 star operation

It starts with checking in which is unorganized and haphazard. Took me 35 minutes to get to counter. Service is nonexistent. No one is friendly or helpful! Breakfast at 22 pounds($44) plus tip is a rip off. Rooms are very small with no desk or working space. I would never go back as there are much better hotels for the same money in London.
