Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 20horrible staff
The front desk was so rude. The reservations agents were lost and confused. I will never be going back to this hotel. HORRIBLE!!!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 2 of 20Not so nice...
The Spa Resort is actually a nice facility but we found the individuals working were less than courteous. We were mostly disappointed by our room not being ready until 9pm when our reservations had been paid months prior. We also were forced to take a smoking room that was very hard on the allergies - the resort staff offered to "spray the room" for us but it was beyond the point of an air freshener.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 3 of 20Never again
I had prepaid my room in advance. yet they had to withdraw from my checking accounting because I used my debit card. I've prepaid my hotels several times and never had an issue when checking into hotels. I asked for a smoking room and was given a non smoking room where I was "allowed" to smoke on the their so called balcony which blocked view of everything. Didn't sleep well at all. You can hear people slamming their room doors and sliding doors all night! Along with hearing people loud in the hallway. Lady that made up my room was rude. Asked her an ash tray 3 times and was never given one along with she didn't refill tissue box or gave extra toilet paper.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 20Maybe Next Time Will Be Better
I had stayed here before and it was great, but this time, the service had really changed. From no smile when I checked in to getting my name wrong on my free breakfast buffet coupon (which caused a big hassle), they were just not on top of their game. There were ants in my room and the blow dryer blew up when I tried to use it, but no one seemed to care when I told them. The bathroom foor was dirty when I checked in. There were other issues, too. Maybe it was just an off week. My husband doesn't want to stay here again, but I would try it one more time because it was so good before. It still had a great bed, sheets, and towels. The pool was still clean and relaxing.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 20We paid for a junior suite and were given a handicapped room. We were told they were booked and thats all they had. Bed very uncomfortable. Room decoration old and outdated.
We paid for a junior suite and were given a handicapped room. No bath, weird shower, not comfortable at all. Carpets stained. Room outdated. Bed uncomfortable. Finally were able to move rooms the next day but remained on the same floor. Hotel staff made us come down and get key. Unfriendly, not service oriented at all.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 20No room available.
When I booked I thought I was booking a non-smoking room with 2 beds. Upon arrival I was told there was no room available and that I could either have a king room (with 4 people that's not an option) or a smoking room with 2 beds. I asked how this was possible since I had reserved a room. He told me, "Yes, you reserve a room, not a room type. We have a room for you". As soon as I got past that issue the rest of the time spent was very nice. The casino is actually accross the street which is nice. Pool area is nice. One thing to note is that the bar closes at 9:00PM, so if you're looking to drink you'll have to go someplace else after then.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 20Needs some organization with the Front Desk Staff
They really did not listen before they made assumptions about your situation. I waas to have a standard king one night and then a junior suite the next 2 nights. the day we were to leave the standard king we were told by Carlos at the front desk that our luggage would be fine in the room and that he would have us all moved in by the time we cam back froma day of activities. we came back a 3pm and Carlos was gone for the day, the people at the fron desk did not check us out of the basic room, there were no notes in the computer. our luggage was basically unattended all day and could have been stolen for all we knew. They finally found a Junior suite that was not very clean and after all this the manager simply tried tio minimalize all the hassle we went through and finally offered a $50.00 coupon. The only person who was worth anything was John the Valet and Kathleen at the concierge--- She should be running the hotel! she was helpful, professional and knows what she is doing!

We were put into a smoking room. The smell was horrible. We checked out before going to the casino to recieve our complememtry breakfast & it took almost a half hour to be confirmed for our meal.

Parking is horrible. Jacuzzi was cold. Every thing closed early. Room service prices are absurd

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 20Personality of employees needs much improving
For the price, the overall service was not impressive. I felt the employees were used to servicing high end customers. By that I mean, I'm not a pulpit by any means but I don't have millions. I felt I was looked down upon and was very uncomfortable. None of the employees seemed frindly and I never saw any of them smile. It was as though they didn't want to be there.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 20Decent value for the money
The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the casino (across the street) as well as the surrounding shops & restaurants (downtown Palm Springs). As for the accomodations, I would have to say it met expectations, but definitely did not "blow me away" by any means. The rooms were smaller than expected and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I would recommend upgrading the TV. Overall, I'd have to say I was satisfied, but probably will not stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 20Needs Improvement
The hotel has a lot of potential. For a KING BED ROOM there were't enough pillows or towels. The pool area is way too small for the size of the resort. The entire first floor had at least 6 people to each room overlooking the pool and it was not enjoyable at all to be by the pool. The price was decent per night. Other than that its you get what you pay for.
