Right on the Strip - Location Great

When we got to hotel we were extremely cold from arriving on a motorcycle and decided to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite for an additional $50.00 a day plus all their extra fees. What a mistake. If you don't book thru hotels.com for a specified price, the hotel adds on many extra's for this "special room". Would never do this again. The hotel was nice, but turned out very expensive for the middle of the week. I could have stayed at the Bellagio in a regular room for what it cost for this jacuzzi room. Live and learn.

Good room for a good price except there's a fee

The only complaint is that after you pay for your room on hotels.com there is still a resort fee. An extra fee that you have to pay to the hotel when you check in. It was only $8.50, but if you're on a budget it adds to your expenses (we were just passing through and needed a place for one night). The pillows were like hard little lumps, other than that the beds were comfortable.

Money Saver

It was great. The only thing I disliked as soon as I walked in the bathroom, there were ashes in the sink. It was kind of grose. I had to wash it off myself. The beds were not as confortable as I thought. My back hurted the following they. The hotel is clean and the rooms too, with the expection that this time that I was there the sink was not clean. I prefer hard matresses and this one is soft and I was not good for me but it might be for you if you like soft mattresses. Enjoy it!!!!

Great Room/Hotel for the Money

Excalibur is in a great location on the strip. More family oriented in decor and with a fun theme. Lots of dining and entertainment options. Our room was extremely nice - they upgraded us to a room with a breakfast area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. While it is not as upscale as some of the other hotels on the strip, it is a good bargain for the money and much nicer than other of the less expensive hotels on the strip.

Great for the money.

Hotel is in a great location, you have a view of the strip and also the airport. Rooms are clean, friendly staff. Excellent experience overall.

Additional fees charged by hotel

They put me in a handicapped room, which means the showerhead was not mounted to the wall and I had to hold it in my hand the whole time I was showering. Also, upon checkout, the hotel charged me an additional $25 in 'hotel convenience' fees on top of the amount I paid through Hotels.com..at no time was I notified that there may be additional fees. And no, I did not use the tv or have anything charged to my room or even have a mini-fridge.
