Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 95Superb accommodations
The ambience and appointments are in keeping with the beachfront resort, a terrific combination of period charm and contemporary comfort. Attentive service throughout our stay, and the facilities for dining, fitness, and entertainment hit just the right note. The cocktail lounge is one of the best in this seaside locale.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 95Second stay better than the first
We stayed at the Congress Hall for the second time in 2 years. The first time we had an ocean-view room, and this time we tried the a town-view room. The town-view room was much better for us because we didn't get the late-night noise from the weddings that go on every weekend there like the ocean-view rooms. Since we prefer to sleep with the windows open instead of with the AC on, the town-view was much better. As our stay before, the room was spacious and very clean and the hotel in general is maintained very well.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 95Great Room and Location
Got this hotel for about 1/2 off and didn't know what to expect. Room was large and very clean. Bathroom was very large as well. They set you up on the beach when you walk down, so no need to bring towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Pool was also very nice with a bar adjacent. Very happy with the hotel and the price paid.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 95Succesful Wedding Weekend
Frends and family from accross the country joined us here to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The venue was perfect and everyone raved about the location, setting and the food. We continued the celebration at the Boiler Room downstairs and at brakfast at the Blue Pig Tavern in the hotel. The rooms were perfect and the ocean view was fantastic. We would highly recommend this hotel for special events or just to enjoy a relaxing stay in a great location.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 95Bedding Worth The Money!
If you want to sleep in quality comfort then spend the money to stay at Congress Hall; you will melt in the bed linens which are also available for purchase in their gift shop. The Cape Resort Group operate with specific standards and they live up to these standards. I also love how they kept the integrity of the aged building but modernized the rooms; but still enjoying the origional doors and windows. Great relaxing stay and would go back!

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 95Great Stay
We had a great stay at the Congress even with cold and rainy weather. Room is spacious and looks onto the lawn, with diagonal view of the ocean. It was worth paying extra to have the view instead of looking out onto the street side. The Blue Pig is a great place to have lunch, food and service are both good. It was rainy during our stay, so we didn't make use of the beach (right across the street) or the pool. The spa was still under construction during our stay. Definitely recommend the hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 95Outstanding hotel
We had a lovely stay at the Congress Hotel. The room was very clean and the view of the ocean was very pretty. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels available to us. I only suggest that they include an in room coffee maker for convenience. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 95...simply great!
This would be our fourth time at Congress Hall and it keeps improving! The Blue Pig Tavern is an outstanding restaurant with great service. When we arrived this last time it seemed like they had upgraded us to a suite. We love the surrounding area stores and sights such as the American West Store, the Cape May Lighthouse and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. When it came time to rest, we found our room to be very inviting. We highly recommend a stay at this historic landmark.
