They could not guarantee a non-smoking room. The room itself was clean and spacious, but had a heavy smell of smoke. The sheets and pillows also smelled like smoke. Unfortunately we couldn't open a window to air out the room. When we complained they offered to move us to another room but it was also a smoking room and air spray. SERIOUSLY!!!! Other than check in the service was poor in their restaurant and the rest of the hotel.

Exercise machine not working and cheap fitness room. You can not get a small breakfast at the hotel unless you are willing to EAT BIG at the buffett and pay $$$$$$$

front desk staff not friendly, never greet guests, especially the on-duty manager, dont event look at you when check in. service needs improvement otherwise cant live with the hilton name, room is average but decoration is very old and the aircon is super super loud, wakes me up at night several times. i ve stayed in much cheaper places but offering better service and rooms

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 10"Communications Problems"
Prior to arriving at the hotel, approximately 12hrs. prior, we notified the hotel to pay specific attention to my wifes allergies as they pertain to "feather pillows." Our trip was planned to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday. Our vehicle completely shut down on us and delayed our arrival to the hotel by a couple of hours. When we finally secured a rental car we were on our way to your hotel from Palm Beach County. My wife called the hotel and advised them we were going to be checking in late to the hotel. In the same conversation my wife advised the hotel once more of her allergies to "feather pillows." When we finally arrived with our 2 year old son and 3 year old daughter we were quite relieved to be at a place we could finally rest, or so we thought. When we finally arrived inside of our hotel room(614) we found "8 LOVELY FEATHER PILLOWS". It took 45 minutes to get 3 regular pillows. So, someone slept without a pillow, that would be me. The hotel comped our breakfast for the 2 days we were there, however my wife had a sore throat and was sneezing for the entire time we were there. The fact that those FEATHER PILLOWS were on the sheets created enough of a transfer to spur on her allergic reactions towards them. This is not the first time that this has occurred at a Hilton hotel in which we have ran into this problem. Please work on your customer service and response to your customers needs!!!

I had a few gripes about this Hotel... being that my fiancee is alergic to cigarette smoke when I suggest to have a non- smoking room they gave me a smoking room with a rather dirty bathroom... Now I always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and I have no memories of any arrangement issues what so ever.... but being that this was Orlando on a friday night I have to stay the night in my car with my girlfriend because she cant sleep in the room and they couldn't change my room until the following afternoon... but wait there is more! Once we got the Non Smoking room I found a used hair barrette under the sheets and two containers of Jello left by the previous guest. I am disappointed that they wouldn't switch the room because of health issues. DISAPPOINTED

Main problem was NO HOT WATER at all on the first night. My wife and her family, vacationing from Japan, were forced to take cold (not ice cold but cooler than lukewarm)showers. I was the last to shower and mine was cold. We contacted the front desk the next day and were told the boiler was broken but was fixed now. We asked for some kind of credit for not having hot water (Japanese people take HOT showers/baths...trust me)and were told that since payment was through hotels.com they couldn't do anything. They said they would look into it and get back to us. Over a week later....nothing. I don't expect this kind of treatment from a Hilton Hotel. Again, I think everyone expects a hot shower and a clean room when staying at a hotel. I can live without a hot shower myself but for my out of country family it was an embarrassment to me. Hilton should have done something, even a small refund or discount on a future stay but they did nothing at all. Not happy. I guess I was wrong about Hilton Hotels.

The room was clean, but maid service never showed up! We made our own beds and had to repeatedly call the front desk to get essentials like coffee. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable - I could feel the springs through the mattress and ended up sleeping more comfortably on the floor. Incidentally, the down filled comforters were wonderful for this! When we ordered room service (BOTH nights we were there), several menu items were not available (such as mashed potatoes and steak and pie). Then, it took over an hour to just get a slice of pie sent up!! The hotel WAS conveniently located near Seaworld (not even a ten minute walk to the acutal gate) so it was great for that, but that's not enough to get me to recommend it.
