The hotel room was nice, however, there was no ice machine on the floor that I was staying on. It was inconvience for me to go down two floors to get some ice. As the Hilton St. Louis Hotel Airport, there should have been ice machine on every floor, so that guest could get their ice. This did not happen, and I was dissatisfied with this service.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 28Ok for the money
The hotel was ok. It is an older building that has been remodeled. Pool water not very clear. There is a $10.00 a day parking fee that was not mentioned.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 28Very Disappointed
My family and I have used this hotel for many years when ever we would stop in St. Louis to visit family. We have never had a bad experience until this time. The lights were out in our bathroom and I asked the front desk if it would be possible to have the lights replaced. The manager told me it would be taken care of that evening. That never happened, so we left the light on by the room door so the kids could see what they were doing. The second problem was that our room was not cleaned during our last day of our visit. I asked the customer service agent how could that have happened and she just said "I have no idea". I was able to convince them to give us toilet paper, empty our trash and give us clean towels. However this should not have been an issue to begin with. It is unfortunate because we have always enjoyed this hotel. Maybe the staff had a bad weekend, but we cannot take any chances. So we will stay some where else next time and give another hotel a chance to screw up.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 28sufficient for basics
The Hilton had an exceptionally comfortable bed and the room was very clean. The location was prime for being close to the St. Louis Lambert Airport. However, there was no vending or ice machine anywhere on the floor. It required going to another wing. For the price of the room, paying for parking did not seem necessary. I was suppose to have a room with a king size bed and flat screen TV, but there were none available unless I wanted smoking.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 28Decent at best!
The hotel, itself, and the parking lot was very well kept. The room seemed was a little small for my liking. The pool closed at 11, which irritated me. The one thing I look forward to, after a performance, is a dip in a pool or relaxing in a hot tub. It didn't happen. The fact that I had to pay $10 extra, for parking, was also a nuissance. I called downstairs to ask for a phone book (so I could find a delivery place) and some more pillows, and they took their sweet time. The front desk staff was courteous to my face but didn't act with any sense of urgency. The doorman was the most pleasant one of all. He welcomed us as we walked in and even gave us directions to the various locations. Also, trying to sleep next to an airport wasn't fun either.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 28Hilton Airport St. Louis Too Loud
The hotel room and hotel were recently updated and kept in good condition. The main problem was that you could hear everything that anyone in the rooms on either side were doing. I would be woken up at 2am by the neighbors alarm clock, and then again at 6am by the neighbor on the opposite side. I could also hear the adult movies perfectly that were order by the room next door. You could here people talking on the phone as if you were in the room with them. Also, because the hotel is across the street from the airport it was difficult to sleep with the jet traffic overhead. Finally, the service was not good. I waited 30 minutes to get my order of two eggs over medium. The restuarant food was not very good and the staff always seem to be busy but not actually helping anyone. It took an hour and 20 minutes to have lunch even after I told the server I had a conference I had to get back to and need to be out within 45 minutes.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 28Needs attention
The hotel seemed on hard times--they had no Chardonnay or Baileys in the bar, the restaurant was deserted but the wait staff seemed totally untrained. The heat control in the room was obviously only for looks and there was no clock. The hotel was empty, but they still put an all-night party group next door to me.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 28Great Room -- Terrible Service
For the price, I could not have been happier with the room itself - clean, contemporary decor, great amenities. However, the service was terrible. I arrived at St. Louis airport at 11:30 pm, waited 45 minutes at the curb for a shuttle, and then 45 minutes more at the front desk to get checked in - I didn't get to my room until nearly 1:30 am. Even a newlyweb couple had to wait over 30 minutes to get checked in to their honeymoon suite. I hope this was just a bad night and not the regular service.
