Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 60Neds improvement
Not at all satisfied. Room door did not lock on the 1st room, moved to another, and the door wouldn't open. Had to move to a 3rd room before being able to set my luggage down. TV remote didn't work. Hard to get back and forth to my room with the smell in the hall ways. Sat down the first morning to have breakfast and the milk was sour. Waited and they replaced it with more sour milk. Next morning same thing. 3rd morning finally fresh milk. It I hadn't prepaid and I was going to loose a night for cancellation I would have left after the 1st night

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 60Unacceptable
I stayed in room 208. There was severe water damage in the bathroom. The top of the shower had water rings from flooding. Paint was peeling from walls in several locations. The worse part was the toilet was sinking through the floor and the ceramic tiles were broken and loose and the toilet rocked back and forth due to the damage. I told the front desk about all the problems and they did not seem too worried about it. I ask for an adjustment on my room rate and they told be basically too bad I should have said something the night before. I would have if I had not came in so late and did not see the damange until the next morning. This room should not even been rented. It was that bad.

You get what you pay for and the location is convenient, however the cleanliness of the blankets was noticeably below par.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 60Roaches Crawling Across My Face
this place was disgusting. the bed may as well have been a rock with a sheet on top, the ac did not work, the tv channels were all fuzzy.... but the worst of all was when i was trying to fall asleep, i felt something crawling in my hair..... then my face.... i was able to catch it with a napkin, and there was a little black roach squished inside. shudder.... when i went to the front desk to complain, the manager actually had the nerve to argue with me, and raised his voice. when i demanded to have my room changed, he actually told me, "why bother, it will probably just happen again." then when i demanded a refund, i was refused.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 60Worth only what you pay for.
If you are used to staying at 3-5 star hotels, don't make the mistake of going here. Needed a place to crash before flying out early the next morning. The room itself wasn't terrible and neither was the staff. In fact, the staff was very nice. However, the overall condition of the hotel was pretty old and run down. The front lobby had an old, musty smell (like mildew), the breakfast was very minimal, the carpet in the room needed to be replaced, and the parking lot was a little scary. There wasn't enough lighting in the parking lot, and I passed a few cars with windows busted out. Again...a little scary. If you are a guy just looking for an inexpensive place for the night, you'd probably be ok with it. However, if you are a lady and want to be comfortable, I would recommend it.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 60Not satisfied with hotel
- Bed was very uncomfortable - Shower was either hot or cold - marked with Permanent marker - HOT - COLD - Van to airport was overloaded, 2 small children on laps of parents. - Was not aware I would pay $5 per night to leave car while out of town - Upon return called at 10:05PM for pickup. - Saw a RC Express van go by about 15 minutes later but it did not pull in to pick us up. Made 2 more calls to hotel. - Arrived back at hotel 11:05 PM - Had a 2 1/2 hour drive home so the delay in picking up was extremely inconvenient

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 60Wouldn't stay there again...
When we found the hotel online we thought we were getting a bargin. Everything was great when we checked in. Front desk was very helpful. Later that night we discovered a HUGE leak in the ceiling from the shower in the room above us. We were moved into a handicapped room that had 2 full size beds. There was still cleaner from the maids left on the table. No alarm clock, coffee pot, or counter space in bathroom. Needless to say we were very disappointed in our choice of hotels. I think next time, I'll splurge and pay a little more for a better hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 60Needs Improvement
We wee told by Super 8 Corporate that we could check in early, but when we arrived we were told that we could check in early for an additiona; $20.00. After lengthly discussion we were not allowed to check in early at all which was about 2:30AM.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 60Convenience is all that is going for this place
Room was not that clean. Air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer every time the compressor was running. Breakfast was mediocre. Hawthorn Inn and suites in the same neighborhood is much better quality for the same price.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 60airport shuttle takes a while, bfast was decent
I picked this hotel because of the free hotel shuttle and free breakfast (it was just an overnight layover stay -- got in late night, left in the morning). After picking up my baggage, I called the motel (can't call using the courtesy phone -- that gives you a different Super 8, so use your cell phone). Anyway, I was informed that it would be around 25 minutes until I was picked up. It was about a half hour until the shuttle showed up. Fine. The annoying part: the shuttle picks up for at least 2 other motels and the airport is huge so we drove around the airport picking up people for another 20 minutes. It was at least a half hour after being picked up from being dropped off at my motel. So expect at least an hour between calling the motel and getting there. There were lots of other hotel shuttles driving around at a much higher frequency. But breakfast was good (I recommend using more than half a cup for texas-shaped waffles) and the check-in bag with water bottles and snack bars was a bonus.
