The hotel did not have the accomodations available as promised. Then when asked about it, the front desk associate was rude. We also purchased a soda from one of thier shops (not a vending machine) that had been expired for 3 years. And then had to jump through hoops to get our money back.I'm glad we were only there one night. They also had very rude associates working at thier Cafe restaurant, I believe it was called "Aces" I actually saw an associate roll her eyes back at a customer that ask for something else after the initial order was complete. I get the feeling that this is "not" the hotel of choice to work for in the Tunica area. But to be fair, the rooms were pretty and clean. The associates that took care of the rooms were very friendly and genuine.

We requested a non-smoking room and none were available, which we didn't know until we arrived. Our room overlooked a rooftop with heating and air equipment which made quite a bit of noise. The housekeeping staff talked with each other very loudly and woke us up every morning earlier than we would have liked! There is only one bank of elevators for the entire hotel and we had to walk quite a distance to the elevator.

Bathroom was not clean--hair in tub, and floor. Since I paid in advance, I didn't leave a card at the desk for long distance telephone service. I was not told, however, that would keep me from even connecting room to room or to room service, etc. (lost revenue on room service!) I just hope the carpet and linens were clean--can't always tell if it is, and bathroom cleanliness is usally a good indicator!!
