Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 13Do not stay here if you plan to drive to sf
Room was clean, comfortable. Concierge knowledgable and helpful. The reservation was for four people, but the room was only set up for two. Room service was incredibly slow after eleven pm. The hotel offers no paking except valet service, which is $50 per night; additionally, the valets were slow and rude. Little to no street parking in San francisco and garages closed after nine pm made stylng here overly expensive and a hassle.

Although I got a good rate I don't like that the parking fees aren't published before booking. Very high! My guest's earrings were inadvertently thrown away when housekeeping cleaned. Location was good for what we wanted to do.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 13Could be better
The hotel is beautiful and is in a great location. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities. If the hotel had paid attention to the three problems that I encountered, it would have been perfect. The bed seemed very old because it was very saggy and I woke up with backache. One day, the maid only pulled the sheets up instead of doing the bed properly, there hairs on the sheets. Some of the towels were broken and looked like old rags. Other than that, everything looked very nice.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 13Dated
Hotel lobby is dated. Need updated design. Parking is outrageous though apparently normal for this area of town. Nothing going on at night. Couldn't park on street if I had wanted to--no parking available. Also, wouldn't park on the street because the area doesn't seem safe at night.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 13A Few Problems
The hotel was nice and the staff were nice but there were a few problems. The "high speed" internet was NOT high speed. There was a charge per day for internet and they did drop that charge from my bill. It was expensive to park there. Also, as it is in the financial district, EVERYTHING in the neighborhood was closed on the weekend....even the Starbucks and Peet's coffee shops. We had a long walk to find breakfast. The worst thing was that we were woken up EARLY Saturday morning by a large group of people protesting in front of the hotel about the hotel's treatment of employees who want to unionize. The staff in the hotel said they were just a few select trouble makers. The bullhorn and chanting lasted about an hour. Just long enough to not be able to go back to sleep. I would stay here again and recommend it to others except for the protest (esp. if I took public transport and didn't have to park my car).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 13Extra person charge
We paid for an extra person charge but the hotel was unable to provide a roll-away bed. If this was disclosed properly, we would have have selected a difference hotel that provided roll-away beds.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 13bit of a dll area
Depends what you're after but this is a good hotel for a business trip in the financial district or need to be near BART. I wouldn't recommend for a fun local evening out though. Good view if you can get a room up high.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 13Horrible Service
When we got to the hotel, the receptionist wasn't nice at all, we were sent to the room and it wasn't ready, when we got back to the reception, the only one worried about us was the bellman, he was the one to suggest to the night manager (It was already 10 o'clock night time) to cumpliment us with some beverages for the kids. Everyone else made us feel like they wanted us to get out of the hotel as soon as possible, we are never coming back!. This week we are going back to San Francisco, and already reserved for the Omni Hotel...We have been to this hotel before and the experience was formidable.

front desk associate was rude and impatient, the toilet in my room kept running all night causing a leak and about two inches of water to build up on the floor-almost slipped twice! air conditioning was poor-lost about 10 pounds overnight! Don't try to find anything to eat at about 10:30 on a friday night-restaurant is closed and all there is left is warmed up "in room dining" delivered to the restaurant. Checked out early.
