they forgot about me

they actually forgot to check the room for one whole day. no one checked the room or cleaned or emptied the trash or anything, but they charged me. the manager took absolutely no responsibility for this neglect.

they just don't care

after checking in, i noticed that both tv clickers did not work, but they were promptly corrected, after i complained. the 2nd morning, i noticed that housekeeping had not left me any complimentary coffee which i had been planning to enjoy on the balcony facing the gulf. on my way out, i mentioned it to the manager, scott , who said he would get right on it. although he did make a few flippant comments, when i asked him what the 20 dollar additional charge was for on my card ("incidentals"). however, when i returned late that night, not only did i not have coffee for the morning again, but the bed had not been made, the towels had not been freshened, the trash had not been emptied. in other words, no one had bothered to check the room that day! (i did not have a do not disturb sign on the door. actually, come to think of it, there was no security patrolling or standing on guard in the garage that night. i called the front desk, & they advised me to speak to the manager, scott, in the morning, but the gentleman said he would leave scott a note. the next morning, scott did not seem to be familiar with my problem. when i told him what happened, his only response was that he would speak to the housekeeping supervisor. i would like to speak to scott's supervisor, because i think that that response was totally unsatisfactory for a manager. he took absolutely no responsibility for the service provided. i reminded him that to not check the room is a potential liability issue for the hotel. he did not seem to understand what i was talking about. i think the management takes their job very lightly. i did not enjoy my stay at this hotel.

Not satisfied...

Bedsheets were dirty with stains, had to sleep on couch, no remote control and no one could get one. Was charged additional money on card, at check in we asked if we were going to be charged anything and were told no. Office manager was very rude, would not recommend this hotle to anyone.

horrible

Th eroom was filthy. It had "questionable" stains on the bed sheets. We had no remote for the TV in the bedroom and when we called they told us that they had run out of remotes and basically tough luck. Also the website said this had a jacuzzi, it did not. For someone whose has been in the hotel industry for a while, this was a horrible place.

DIRTY!! DIRTY!! DIRTY!!

OUR ROOM HAD A MUSTY ODOR, DEAD COCKROACH ON THE FLOOR COVERED IN ANTS, HAIR FROM PREVIOUS GUEST ALL OVER BATHROOM VANITY WHICH WAS VERY VERY DISGUSTING!! THE BED WAS VERY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND PREVIOUS GUESTS HAIR ON BED SHEETS AS WELL, DISGUSTING!! THE TOWELS HAD A MUSTY SMELL AND HAIR ON THEM THE SHOWER HAD HAIR ON WALLS FROM PREVIOUS GUEST, THIS ROOM WAS AWFUL!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY ENEMY!! I WILL SPEND A FEW $$ MORE NEXT TIME AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE JUST FOR THE PIECE OF MIND AND A CLEAN ROOM!! FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL!!

not a hotel

This place is for long term stays. it is not set up to handle one night stays. They are trying to imitate country inn and failing miserably. The continental breakfast is a joke. if you need a place for a week or a month this might be it, but for the overnighter-forget it.

Not recommended

Most disapointing was the continental breakfest just Small danishes and bad coffe. They need more effort in breakfest.! Rooms need to Renovated and updated. Hot water was broken in our first room so we had to transfer rooms which was not fun. Security was helpfull and parking seemed to be secured. Not enough luggage carts and only saw two elevators so getting luggage with alot of kids was a pain. Bunk beds were ok but need to have rails and was in convient to requst them they should have them in the room in a closet

The hotel is not clean. The location is nice.

The room had a terrible smell to it. Smelled like underarm odor. The couch was very uncomfortable. Great location to places that we visited. Only positive of Sailport suites.

Our room smelled like dogs, the bed sunk down in the middle. The door needed to be replaced, would not close properly, about enough of a gap at bottom of door for mice and insects to crawl in. But for the cheap price, I should have known.

No Frills

Hotel was definitely a "no frills" hotel. It was more like a very small condo. It needed some updating, and had very low ceilings.
