Bed Bugs! Ouch

Fair Warning. This hotel has bed bugs! If this doesn't bother you but you still want to go and not bring home the bugs make sure you don't take any clothing that you'll need for about 5 days after you get back because you should put it in black bags to bake the bugs in the sun. I got 61 bites from the bed bugs but they don't necessarily bite everyone. And yes I did see one of the little brown bugs on the white sheets. Bed bugs are not an issue of cleanliness per say it's more an issue of extermination and costs $1000s upon $1000s of dollars to get rid of in a hotel so i wouldn't be convinced that they're gone unless you call and ask what they did about the problem.

Bad Bad Bad

Don't stay there!!

The hotel was run down, and the staff was shady. We were afraid to leave our belongings in the room while away. The price was too high, and I specifically looked for a hotel with "free breakfast" but they gave us grief over it, and we had to pay tax on the "free breakfast" that tasted awful. We wouldn't recommend this place, nor will be ever stay there again.

What Reservation

We were hot and ready to relax before going back to the theme park but there was a big problem. The guest service said that our room wasn't ready at their 4:00 pm check in and to check back later. After 35 minutes sitting in the car I decided to go ask again and they told me that my credit card was decline. What! I told the hotel personnel “it has already been paid for and I have plenty of money in my bank account". She then instantaneously said “sorry the hotel is still not ready please check back later”. After her failed attempt to humiliate me in front of other guests she then told me that a room is ready next to where they are doing construction. I asked for a different room and she told me that there would be a longer wait. We are in our mid 30’s and felt like we were being targeted because we look young. I love holiday inn but this location was not up to par.

Didn't have complementary breakfast. Had a outrageous price for breakfast. 2 adults and 3 teenage girls who hardly ate anything and the bill was $65.01. Highway robbery. Will never stay there again. After I complained they did take the $65.01 off my bill.Should never have been there in the first place.

Internet pics are better

The pictures are nothing like the actually hotel...the pictures are way better. They were doing construction in the adjacent building, they were not noisey just messy.

NOT SATISFIED

THERE WAS HAIR ALL IN THE BED. THE POOL CLOSED TO EARLY, THE PICTURE ON THE WEB SITE IS A LOT NICER. ALSO WHEN WE ASK FOR SOMETHING THE CLERK SAID " OH WE DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE"..... THE LOCATION IS GREAT!

Needs Lots of Improvement!

The room we were given was awful. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been clean in months. We were given another room which was a little better but I would NOT recommend the Holiday Inn SunSpree to anyone!!!

Can't get their act together...

The price is good, and the location is nice. However, they have no idea how to deal with reservations and payments! I re-paid via hotels.com. When I checked-in I gave a credit card for "incidentals" as is customary. But when I went to checked-out I had a BILL for the stay. AND the price was even higher than what I had already paid. It took 3 phone calls, 2 managers, and 45 minutes to clear up. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

This is not a resort, it's a motel.

My family and I stayed for 1 night, the rate was really expensive (like a real resort) and we were expecting something better. Part of the hotel is under construction, a lot of dust in the corridors, the elevator old and ugly, carpet dirty, etc, etc. It was on New Year's eve, all the hotels were sold out, so we couldn't go to other place. I will not come again here. We usually go to Orlando 8 times for year.

Decent Room for the Money

The hotel is old and not the cleanest hotel around but wasn't bad considering what we paid at the time of our stay. However the hotel failed to mention that half of their hotel was undergoing construction adjacent to the pool area. Noise of constructions puts a bit of a damper on your vacation when you wake up to hammering and drilling. If you're a college student on a tight budget, then this is the hotel for you. If you are not, I would look elsewhere. The location is fairly convenient in that it is close to Disney but you constantly half to go a mile down the road to make a u-turn to take a left from the hotel, which gets rather agrivating especially when traffic is heavy.
