Great vacation hotel except for brokent equipment

This hotel was very economical, and a good hotel. I was just annoyed at the fact there were serveral things that were broken at this hotel. They had an elevator out of service the whole time in one wing, which made it time consuming to get anywhere in the hotel. Otherwise it was a great experience

Great location great price great for kids

Great hotel for price and great locaton near Disney and right by I-4 quick ride universal studios

Great Value

We really enjoyed this hotel for the price, but beware of the resort fees, they "forget" to mention them at check in. Clean, very secure, and plenty to do. It does look like the pictures and was great in every way.

Great for the money

We stayed in a kids suite; it was great for the kids. We have stayed in kids suites at other hotels that weren't nearly as nice. Pool was good size and the pool staff was very good playing games with the kids. They have a small movie theater near the lobby area playing kids movies and on Friday and Saturday nights the set up a movie out by the pool. Overall a very good family oriented hotel.

GREAT HOTEL NEAR EVERYTHING...perfect

I loved the hotel it has a Large pool, 2 hot tubs which are opened until 11:00pm. They have alot of things geared for children. I was so empressed when the put up this huge movie screen and the kids watched a Disney movie while swimming. Our room was perfect, a king for me and my husabnd and a seprate divider room for my daughter with her own tv..PERFECT.

Great room for the money

We were just doing a really quick turnaround trip and we stayed at this Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Lake Buena Vista, and it was a bit more then we anticipated, coveniently located to resturants and shopping, nice pool are and the staff was great. I would recommend others to stay and we would most definitely stay again.

Good for the money

Don't expect anything luxurious. Clean and comfy. The shuttle departs 2 times in the morning and return once in the afternoon. There are also 2 late night returns. Not walking distance to downtown disney, a cab ride costs about $9, shuttles do not go to down town disney.

Nice rooms!

We were really surprized about the size of the room! The only bad thing is there are only drink vending machines, no snack machines & nothing to eat open after 10 pm on premises. You would have to go across the street or walk to the local 7-11 that is next to the hotel.

Under Renovation

They were working on improving the hotel. The construction did not hinder my enjoyment. I like that it was near the Marriott where a convention was being held. Overall I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

fun for a family

my kids thought the family suite was way cool. It is a regular hotel room with a divider, that has bunk beds and its own tv. it was a nice change. the hotel is older, but kept well, stay is very nice. for the money i would do it again

Improvements are on the way.

They are doing a COMPLETE remodel of this hotel. In Feb/March 2009 they will be opening the NEWLY gutted out and remodeled side of the hotel. If you make reservations, ask them if you'll be staying in the new part or the old part. The old part isn't bad, just out dated and NOT plush by any means... older furniture, and you enter from the outside! Ugh! The newly remodeled hotel will be very nice - at least It looks like it will be. The pool is nice and heated, and so are the two whirl pools and child's wading pool. The lounge and restaurant look out dated so not sure when that will be updated, I never ate there because they are close to a LOT of shopping and restaurants. It's very well located and the staff were SO SO nice. Because of the construction parking was some times hard to find, but there was always a place.

Great room and overall service (pool, breakfast, etc) for the money. Staff was cordial, the room was clean. Great location.
