Nice but....

The hotel was overall nice. We had no problems with staff, and the house keeping team was excellent. Over all I would recommend this hotel if we you don't mind $19.00/day for parking and the distance to the tourist attractions and the beaches. Also be careful what time of year you travel, we ended up at this hotel during the volleyball tournament and the hotel was taken over by pre-teens and teenager. The pool also has poor night time lighting not safe at all.

Nice place, horribly uncomfortable bed

It is a nice location, very scenic on the water, and nice pool with poolside bar. The two things I didn't like were the bed was verrrry uncomfortable ... no box springs, just mattress placed on a wood platform, and the mattress had no give to it (not even sure if it had springs in it) and was very very uncomfortable. The other (somewhat expected) thing I didn't like was the outrageous prices in the restaurant. I mean, it was double or triple what it would cost for the same food at any comparable restaurant in the area. So, no, I didn't eat the food and don't know how it tasted. The staff was very nice and accomodating.

Hilton Review- Just ok...

Was ok. nothing special very noisy hallways outside our room. you can hear right through the thin doors in the room. also had lots of baby ants around the sink and a shower head that was falling off the wall. cheap radio in the room the alarm radio from the connecting room next door was also going off all morning which we could hear and no one turned it off. Overall for the $$ you can do much better. Also had to pay $20 a day for parking which no one told us about.

Nice hotel, not so nice people

The rooms are very nice some need slight improvements, Staff not friendly or helpful. Ice machine on floor was broke all week, any questions were treated as a huge imposition on them. There are many other places to stay in there area, I would recommend checking them out.

Poor Service - Bad Attitude

Came in around midnight after a long trip and was greeted by such an unfriendly front desk agent. After checking in, I called front desk to ask for a toothbrush and she (the same girl I assume) said to come down and get it and hung up. Was I really at a 4-star hotel? Ok so maybe she was alone and had to man the desk... Well I went down to fetch the toothbrush and lo and behold, there she was chit-chatting away with another male agent. As a service staff member, the least she could have done was offer an explanation for not being able to 'meet guest needs.' Even though I paid the hotels.com rate, I felt ripped off because I stayed at the hotel for only 5 hours before having to catch my 6 o'clock flight and had to encounter such attitude. I will never visit that hotel because of her and will not recommend it to anyone in my hospitality network.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!

We went to the hotel with great expectations to later find out that it wasnt as expected. We were assigned a room, when we went to the room there was a bucket of empty beers in front of the door with a privacy sign in front. we went back to the front desk and they told us that they were sorry but they didnt have anymore king size beds. Thats what we booked. they later put us in a smoking room with double beds and a free breakfast for the inconvinience. In the morning we went to the China grill where the breakfast was taking place, and the hostess tells us all who were in line to be seated that they were sorry but the resturant didnt make enough food for everyone, and that they were sorry for the inconvience. For what the hotel is worth we deserved a little more than that. Very bad experience.

No servce provided here!

We stayed there one night during the Boat Show because it was convenient by water taxi. There was NO room service until 6PM so when we watched the Florida/Georgia in our room we couldn't offer anyone a snack, etc. No shuttle to the airport! If you need a sundry, i.e. bandaid, you have to pay for it at the reception desk; we were paying over $400 a night! I have stayed at much finer hotels for less. Next time I'll take a taxi to the Show!

rooms too small

We felt the rooms we way too small for the price we paid. Room waws clean but we felt cramped and we stayed inthe tower rooms which was an upgraded room. At night, valet is no where to be found. Once they were found our keys were left just laying in front desk drawer so they were not sucure. We felt food and drinks were very over priced. We only stayed due to the fact my high school reunion was held there. We would not stay there again, too many other hotels near by with much better locationa nd prices. At night it felt like a ghost town.

parking, internet, and w.up call

Very beautiful and update hotel great location but did not meet my expectation, just because I can belive the internet service wasn't incluid Big Surprice!! Most 95% hotel arround this category they provide iternet free to them guest. They told me I have to pay $0.49 x minute. Also parking guest staying have to pay separate UNBELIVE THIS!!! Also W.up call didn't work the phones they came to my room 32 minutes later from the time I request Beautiful hotel, but service and charges very bad. Patricia Oklahoma
