Silver Cloud Hotel

It is not mentioned that parking underneath the building is an extra 20.00 dollars so the cost is more than prepared for. The attendant at the desk was professional but not customer service oriented.

Not worth the stay

Although the hotel property was good, our stay there was one of the most horrendous experiences I've had. We did not sleep at all the one night we stayed due to a loud, wild party next door that went on until about 3 a.m. and included screaming, loud banging and doors slamming. It seems in talking with the manager the next morning that a local person (from what I could see running in and out of the room, probably under 25) booked the room through a cheap third party vendor and proceeded to invite all kinds of people there to party. When we called the front desk, the man was not at all empathic and never sent security to check out the situation. Very bad time, especially because I probably paid more for my room than the inconsiderate trash next door.

Needs Improvement and not the best neighborhood

Family trip. First time to Seattle. Good price for the hotel but was afraid to walk my family around the block to the ihop. There was a fire alarm our first night there so I had to carry my toddler down 6 flights of stairs only to sit outside in the heat. Turns out someone burnt food at the adjoining restuarant. On the plus side they had a free shuttle to 4 drop off points down town (this hotel is some distance from downtown not walkable with small children). Another plus was the free breakfast (it was very good)

While the activation of the alarm can be startling and disruptive, it is important to note the system performed in the manner it was designed; to notify the hotel of a potential danger. Although in this case it appears to have been a non-emergency, it is our sincere hope that you were able to quickly resume your activities and hope you enjoyed the remainder of your stay. Hidden Costs

When we arrived, there were so many hidden costs added to our total. The manager was not at all helpful with our concerns.

Not quite as nice as it should be!

We had a king Jacuzzi room and the nicest thing was the Jaccuzzi. If it wasnt for that the stay would have beena bust. The people at the front desk were snoody and rude. The access to the roooms was very akward. Overall I have seen bettter for less.

Felt some clerks were immature and made degrading comments when they thought we were out of hearing distance.

We have begun putting a comprehensive plan in place to provide a more positive atmosphere behind our Front Desk. We have a wonderfully diverse and professional team in place here at Silver Cloud Hotel on Broadway. We pride ourselves on our service. We receive a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our hotel guests on a daily basis. It is very rare that we receive complaints, but it looks like we may have let our guard down and taken our eye off the ball.
