Best part of stay was the complimentry breakfast which was suprisingly good, but the rest of the stay was marginal. Paper thin walls and floors left us hearing neighboring rooms conversations well into the night. Also, every footstep on the floor above our room could be heard as well. Not a very restful night of sleep. The most disappointing part was the hairs we found in our bed and on our pillow covers before we got into them and the brown stains on the sheets made us uneasy to say the least. It's too bad, as we usually stay at Best Westerns when traveling....maybe this one was just a bad apple?

Front desk staff need some customer service training. Eye contact was lacking and whispering to co-workers while guests are waiting is unacceptable.

After checking in I discover my room did not have the fridge or microwave promised in my reservation. I was told by the front desk staff that they were overbooked, had downgraded my room, and there was nothing they could do. Disappointing after pre-paying four months in advance.

My husband and I booked a two night stay from Fri. June 12th- Sun. June 14th. I had to unexpectedly work on the evening of the 12th. We tried to cancel the room for the night but it was past the noon cancellation time. So we decided to travel anyway and stay even though it was going to be very late by the time we reached the hotel. (It's a 3.5 hour drive) It ended up being around 3:30 in the morning when we arrived. So we place the "do not disturb" sign on the door in order to get some additional sleep the following morning. Needless to say we received a knock on the door at around 11:30AM from housekeeping and the front desk. I opened the door and without a greeting or anything else the woman was holding a clipboard and housekeeping was standing behind her and she said "Front Desk..when are you leaving?" I explained that we were staying two nights and checking out on Sunday the 14th. She said "that's not what I have here." So I explained that I would be happy to get changed and run down to my car to receive my Hotels.com reservation to show them. So I closed the door and another woman called the room. So I answered the phone and explained that I was about to retrieve the reservation to show them we had paid for an additional night. She still proceeded to tell me she had no record of this. So as I hung up and began to exit the room the phone rang again! By this time I was frustrated. We were exhausted and had hardly gotten any sleep. I explained to her that I did not appreciate all of this run around and their un-professionalism as a paying guest. I felt that there hospitality was non-existent and I didn't appreciate the front desk calling twice and knocking on the door that read "do not disturb". They were not even competent in being able to find the reservation that we had made. The woman said that she did not believe that this occurred and that the front desk would not knock on doors, etc....I asked if she was calling me a "liar" and she said that what I was sayi

Had to call twice for a portable bed. They brought the one that was sitting in the hall and I don't believe the bedding was clean. No shampoo in bathroom either day. We had to go get some from the front desk - twice. Breakfast was ok. No bananas or yogurt. Apples had stickers on them. If they are not washed, are we supposed to take them back to our room to wash them? After waiting for elevator, I asked front desk if it was working and was told YES! After waiting a while longer, a maintenance worker said he would run down and reset it. Staff courteous, especially the hispanic ones. Good for guests with pets, I suppose but I will not stay there again as I will probably go with a HIE or Hampton as I will know what standards to expect.

Our room was clean and the staff was okay. The walls are paper thin and we had a connecting door with an inch gap under it. We could hear every word our neighbors said. My neighbors also started smoking in the room although it was non-smoking hotel. the breakfast WAS okay but the room they have the food in is about 8 x 8 and way too small for 20 people at once. Good location and decent price are the only reasons we stayed there.

The room had trash left over from previous guest when we arrived. The towels were stained and not soft at all. I guess this is to be expected from a best western type hotel, so for the money it was ok. You really do get what you pay for with this one.

Our experience with the Best Western Landmark was abysmal. We checked in the first day of a two-day stay, pre-paid through hotels.com. My wife left after one day. When I got to the hotel that evening and went to our room, the key did not work and someone else was in the room. The clerk at the front desk told me the room was given to another guest, and had no explanation why. Moreover, he offered no help or apology. I had to prompt him to find out where another hotel was located in the area. There was no offer to return our money or pay for the other hotel's room. We will not return.

The frame of the bed that we slept on was broken. There were young childern that were unattended running up and down the halls all day and well into the night. We could hear conversions of other guests through the walls.
