Maui Coast Hotel

over rated.

This is days inn not a hotel. They only have outdoor swimming pool with bar. no beach,ugly pictures on the building, blurry TV ( I can't watch most of channel) They said 80+ recommendation, but not true.

Front desk staff rude, and inconsiderate. Made me feel unwelcome. everything else was very nice.

Great looking lobby, but not so great rooms!!!

The looby promised a lot, but when we got to the room...disapointed. The room needs updating all around.Now on the plus side the pool is nice and it's close to Kihei with it's beautifull dinning and stores. The beach is nice and it's right across the street, so if you don't have kids and have to spend time in room it's nice, if not...not so nice.

Middle of the Road

The hotel was a fill in after a long flight before we checked in to our other hotel for the week. It is nothing spectacular, but it wasn't bad either.

location was OK but way too pricy ...

Our room was located on the 2nd floor, right next to the lobby. We had a great view on the AC unit powering the lobby. It was a little noisy too. For a little extra, you can get 5***** hotel. otherwise, the location was OK.

not the best but not the worst...

it was a nice hotel but when they say ocean view it is a very very very small inch of ocean. I stayed in the 1 bedroom/ 2 sinks and jacuzzi tub room. which was the most expensive one. I thought it would be more up to date. and when i first checked in the person behind the counter was not very helpful or nice. but later on i met nicer staff members. not on a beach or in good view of a beach. wasn't horrible but i would not stay there again.

I was in this so called resort for one night and was not happy about it.

Needs Better Customer Service Skills

Customer service was definitely lacking. Upon arrival, person to check us in was not friendly, lacked attention to detail. Person checking us out didn't greet us and was actually in a conversation with another hotel employee at the front desk for a good 5 -7 seconds before looking up and saying, "ROOM #". No good morning or hello, how was your stay? She wasn't going to give us a receipt, nor did she even say thank you. I was utterly disgusted and disappointed. Hotel cleanliness - sheets were not changed from the night before. Sand was still in our bed.
